The facilities are a bit old, but comfortable. Great location, we only had two problems: One with the CO2 sensor that kept going off in the middle of the night for no reason, and we had to call an employee to fix it. And the other with the shower water, which really doesn't get hot.

The beddings were not clean, the duvet did not have a proper cover. The receptionist was not friendly at all. Lift was super small for large luggages. Carpet is really old. Usual shampoos and conditioners, and kettle, you have to ask for or more of. The only upside was the location and some assistance given by the doorman in carrying our luggages over the entrance stairs.

The best things about the hotel are: 1) the location in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, close to everything and relatively far from the noise of Times Square (10/10), and 2) the size of the rooms, which can be the size of an apartment. The worst things are: 1) the lack of maintenance, since it is an old hotel that has preserved almost all of its original facilities and this makes some things look run down or not work very well, and 2) the service, since they do not stand out for their kindness nor are they very attentive to detail, for example when doing housekeeping they sometimes do not replenish the soap or shampoo. If they improved these two aspects (maintenance and service), it would undoubtedly be one of the best options to stay in NYC.
