The room was beautiful and very clean but exceptionally hot even though a fan was provided. Felt the bathroom needed more shelving for storage. Also the wardrobe only had 2 hangers to hang clothes on which did not worry us as we were only staying a few days but would have been a problem if we were staying longer. Overall a very pleasant experience and lovely accommodation. The staff were all very friendly and helpful would recommend this accommodation

Lovely big room, friendly staff, tasty meal and decent breakfast. Slight down points - the view was of a car park and disused building (but not much can be done about that) and the bed was wobbly and squeaky, with the mattress sloping on one side. The staff were quick to note this and said it would be sorted promptly. Overall, this didn’t detract from what was a lovely night in a pretty seaside village.

My recent stay at The Ship Inn was nothing short of delightful. The room was exquisite, featuring a majestic four-poster bed and an elegant roll-top bath. The decor was tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Over the course of my two-night stay, I was treated to a lovely breakfast each morning, which was a perfect start to the day. The staff were the epitome of friendliness, always ready to assist with a smile. I left with fond memories and look forward to returning to The Ship Inn for another wonderful experience.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ship Inn, the last night of our holiday in England. Beautiful Golden room. We had a very good salad, fish and chips, and chicken, and sticky toffee pudding. In the morning a great breakfast. Lovely hosts/hostesses. A short stay to remember!

Had a one night stay at the Ship Inn with friends. The rooms are amazing...I was in the four poster room...lovely. Extremely clean and well fitted out. So many pillows! The pub itself is lovely, very friendly service and although we didn't eat in the evening, a large table next to us did and all the food looked amazing. We had breakfast, and it was fantastic. Just wished I'd stayed two nights! Will be back

Despite arriving a little late due to the M25 we were welcomed with a smile and shown straight to our room, which was superb. As the room name suggested we had a lovely view of the church, as well as what sounded like a birds nest outside the bathroom window. Initially it didn't look like there was much storage, however we then found the closet which had loads of hanging space as well as a shelf to put our bags on and hide them out of the way. We then went down to dinner, and the food was delicious. Service was brilliant, the food arrived quickly, and was very tasty. The next morning we had breakfast. And to be honest this is probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in a long time! Carl was hosting Saturday as was Emile on Sunday, and nothing was too much, even the freezing of the packs for my insulin case Will definitely come back!
