We booked two studio apartments for family, based on positive experiences over the years at other Quest accommodation in NZ. Unfortunately this choice was a mistake - there was unprofessional communication, damaged furniture, empty soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers, stained carpets, no ice in the freezer, confusing parking, and very difficult to actually get into the building when we arrived and parked. Definitely don't waste your money here. I understand that each Quest is operated by separate management/ownership - if this is the case, then they need to take the New Plymouth Quest off their books because it damages the Quest brand.
