Greeted by friendly and helpful staff - great decor and spacious room. The bathroom was small but shower good heat and pressure. Excellent location - when windows were closed the noise insulation was excellent. A bit of noise around 10.30pm (we think from the Joe's Garage cleaning crew ) but over by 11. Super comfy bed. Would highly recommend 👌

Loved the eclectic decor in the stairs and hallways. The beds were so comfortable. Great location for restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the Coastal Walkway.

Very nice hotel, beautifully decorated with artwork and attention to detail. Very friendly and unintrusive. It's only a short walk to restaurants and bars or the coast walk. The free laundry facilities were a very welcome surprise. The only issue we had was the (lack of) sound proofing of windows. We stayed on a Saturday night, and it was impossible to sleep until long past midnight. People coming home from the clubs and parties was one thing, but everyone seemed to be wanting to demonstrate how loud their exhaust backfires right in front of the hotel, too. Take ear props if you stay over the weekend! Sunday night was an entirely different matter. Absolutely nice and quiet. There's private off-street parking which is a bit tricky to find because of the one-way system, but if you use the address provided by AJ, Google maps takes you exactly where you need to be. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Nice diner for breakfast downstairs and the Shining Peak Brewery is only a couple hundred meters away.

Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful, took my bags to the room while I went to a meeting and the room was very clean. It’s in the middle of town but hardly can hear a thing outside. Car park isn’t far from the hotel and they have 2 places for charge backs which make it nice

It was a surprising gem for my wife and I. It had exactly what you could need from a hotel and provided everything in-room that most high end hotels would have as extra...this said, be prepared for the smaller bathroom which was fine - some people seem to want a bathroom bigger than their bedroom for some reason. The rooms were well appointed and really comfortable. We only stayed a night because it was a drive through visit for a wedding BUT would definitely have been happy with a 3 day stay or more. The hosting managers were helpful and great to deal with but the PRICE was by far the catch for us, given some surrounding offerings were not as nice and more expensive. A business traveler or personal trips to regions, its just relaxing and in a central location you have everything at your disposal. We loved it.
