Beds, restroom and kitchen are all clean, I even see the staff cleaned for the day I stayed(only one night)
People also friendly and very energetic
Plan come again if back NOLA
Volunteers do the day check in from 9-5
There is an after hour instructions if you are outside that time

If you want to combine the social and communal aspects of staying in a hostel with the authentic experience of staying in a quirky, old New Orleans house (complete with a cozy front porch and lovely back courtyard) this is a good choice!

Serene and clean in New Orleans
Rustic elegance in a diverse community. Quiet neighborhood, but has lively bars. Within walking distance to the french quarter, but away from the noise and crowds. The hosts are responsive, nice and helpful.

Beds and pillows have brown stains. Rooms smell and will make your clothes smell. Some showers don’t have hot running water. Refrigerator is dirty and smelly. The beds are not sturdy, cheap metal bunk beds for the price they are charging is not right. I started in 2 rooms, the 8 person and the 6 person and they both smelled like feet. The smell was so bad that multiple nights I slept with a sheet over my head to block out the smell.

I really enjoyed my stay at Auberge NOLA. The staff were fantastic and there were always there to help with anything. The hostel was clean and the beds and linen were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place especially for solo travellers.

Best place to meet people when traveling by yourself. Drinking culture and Mardi Gras parades are a block away. Price to value, I don't see how anyone else can beat it.
