Omni Royal Orleans Hotel

Even with the renovations going on, everything was well organized, and we were taken care of. Especially by Ms Julie. She ensured our stay was comfortable and the renovation work would not be a deterrent to myself and especially my husband. This is a beautiful hotel with the feel of a rustic place in time. Once the renovations are complete it will be even more beautiful. The price was great for what you got.

I had a truly wonderful experience at the Omni Royal. From the moment I arrived, every associate I encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and welcoming, and I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. My room was immaculate—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and everything was in perfect working order. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with elegant common areas that made it a pleasure to spend time onsite. Even with internal and external construction happening during my visit, the property remained quiet, calm, and easy to navigate. WiFi worked flawlessly, and every detail—from the cleanliness to the overall ambiance—reflected the high standards of the Omni brand. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

I REALLY wanted to give this hotel 5 stars. I sincerely enjoyed the hotel, the location, the room, the food, and the amenities. The staff was very friendly for the most part & everything was smooth. The hotel sent a text after check in allowing you to opt out of housekeeping (if you opt out, the hotel donates a meal, etc). Given we were only staying 2 nights, we opted out of service. I received a confirmation text stating that we would not receive housekeeping for the duration of our stay, but to call if we needed any amenities. Day 2, we come back to our room & housekeeping is in there cleaning & moving things. They're looking at us like we're crazy for coming in, we're looking at them like why are you in here... I was agitated, but we were heading out to an event so I just decided to leave it alone & let them finish since they'd already started. We decided to leave that night after our event as we didn't want to get caught in the event traffic leaving in the morning. I couldn't find a doll I'd purchased as well as some medication I'd left on the table prior to the event. We ended up leaving & I also left some clothing hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I did reach out to the hotel as soon as I realized that the items were missing, but we didn't double back as we'd left around midnight and were already almost halfway home. I'm not sure how the clothes weren't found, I 100% know I left them on the bathroom door. As for the doll, I'm not sure if housekeeping thought the box was empty & threw it away or what. I never want to accuse anyone of anything without proof, but they never should have been in the room. The lady I spoke with on the phone regarding my items was super nice. Despite not retrieving my missing items, I did appreciate her help & her atrempt to resolve the issue. I will leave off with again, we REALLY enjoyed the hotel. I LOVED everything up until housekeeping came in & my items going missing. I would just implore you to use your DND sign even if you opt out of service via text message. I assumed we didn't need to, but that resulted in our stay being less satisfactory than it should have. I hope for future guests, communication to the staff about opt out options is better relayed. I'm still disappointed about my items, but I WOULD recommend the hotel.
