Q&C Hotel and Bar New Orleans, Autograph Collection

Nice hotel, great location in CBD. But 5:30 AM noise every morning - loud beeping, banging, engines. Front desk wasn't helpful. Would've been 4 stars otherwise.

Q&C has been my go-to for New Orleans, especially business travel. Easy access from interstate, parking options with Premium Parking around the hotel, clean & boutique style hotel and great service all around. The bar/restaurant is a great atmosphere whether you are staying here or walking by. Tammy who works at the bar makes sure you are welcomed and delivers stellar service. It’s always nice to see her any time I visit. Her dedication to the hotel atmosphere makes places like the Q&C special.

What a wonderful mix of old city charm and character, mixed with the modern amenities of an up-to-date hotel. The location is ideal, a quick walk to the heart of the French Quarter, but far from the noise of Bourbon Street. The lobbies (there are two!) are wonderfully decorated (check out the vacuum cleaner!). I spent time just relaxing on the leather sofas before heading up to the room. The room itself was welcoming and well appointed. Decorated in a style nicely removed from the standard hotel fare. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom sparkled with beautiful retro feel. Special thanks also to Kierra for being so helpful at check in, and Craig and John for giving us a warm NOLA welcome. We look forward to coming back!

This was a great hotel in a lot of ways, but actually, as the second Autograph hotel I've stayed in, seems to be a reflection of the nature of the Autographs in general - lovely places that have a "cool" vibe that tries to make up for not being exactly up to the level you expect for the price. The location was great, staff friendly, but the room was just okay. Looked great, but over two nights, the shine just comes off. Noticing the significantly peeling wallpaper above the bed, or the holes in the floor under the rug, or the fact that the bathroom floor was just unlevel enough to have the shower water run all over the whole floor so we had to great a patchwork carpet of towels so as not slip and fall on the wet tiles in the doorway (we got "upgraded" to an accessible room so there was no barrier between shower and floor). Overall, a fine stay, but for the price, not as great as I would have liked. And, again, this is 2/2 on my experience with the Autograph Collection, so maybe that's just the thing - paying for vibe.
