This was the most horrible stay

This is the perfect location to enjoy the French Quarter without the noise from Bourbon street (in a pool facing room). We reserved a Petite King room and it was huge and extremely clean! The well-maintained pool was an added bonus and it was the perfect place to escape the July heat. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely stay here again.

The whole experience was really disappointing, starting with the check in, at almost 2pm there was no room available, when the check out is at 11 am, unless you pay for an upgrade, the parking of course was charged and more expensive if it was a SUV, that is really ridiculous because it should be a service for the customers, but the worst was that at 10:30 pm I requested for sheets for the sofa bed (because there were not in there) at 11:10 I had to call back because no one came, and again at 11:40 and at midnight, until 12:30 they were able to bring "2" white simple sheets and the excuse of front desk was that there was no house keeping available, or that it was closed the closet, it was unbelievable that took 2 hours to get the sheets, my kid was really tired and couldn't go to sleep for 2 hours because the hotel was not prepared.

Excellent hotel with great amenities, superb staff, tasty food and beverages, and ideal location! Would definitely stay there again.

Pro: close to bourbon street and activities but off the street from all the noise and chaos. Great breakfast options. Con: AC didn’t work. The temp won’t go below 76. Managed two nights and have to request a change. Rooms facing CANAL street is very LOUD. Beyond what ear plugs can help. I happen to have a pair from a recent flight, they didn’t help much. Do request the rooms facing courtyard if you are sensitive to the noise.
