Location is unbeatable, but stains on sheets and no extra trash bags. FYI Front door is incredibly loud and individual room door a little flimsy - noise maker was in room when we arrived which helped. Being said, would consider staying again but in a room on a higher floor!

Me gustó mucho ya que te encuentras en el punto medio de todo, al lado una farmacia muy antigua, a 2 cuadras la farrearía y su plaza principal, 1 cuadra la calle Royal y 2 la bourbon

Our stay at Roami St. Helene was truly saved by Marcus! His exceptional service and willingness to go above and beyond prevented our visit from being a complete disaster. Marcus deserves every accolade for his hard work and positive attitude—thank you, Marcus! Unfortunately, there were significant issues with the rental itself. One major disappointment was the misrepresentation of amenities, particularly the absence of a kitchen. The website listed a kitchen as part of the rental, which was a key factor in our booking. We were later told this was an "honest mistake," and while we were offered a partial refund of only 10% of the fee, the resolution felt unsatisfactory. For future guests, I recommend double-checking all listed amenities and confirming details directly with the management before making a non-refundable payment. Additionally, as locals over 70 years of age, we faced challenges before booking, as the company initially hesitated to rent to us. After assuring them of our circumstances, we were placed in a second-story unit with no elevator access—a significant inconvenience. Marcus kindly helped with luggage and other items, which we greatly appreciated, but the lack of an elevator was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. The condition of the rental left much to be desired. The floors were sticky, showers showed signs of mold, and overall cleanliness fell short of expectations. The TV had no user instructions, which posed a challenge for those unfamiliar with its operation. The coffee maker provided did not work initially and displayed a "CLEAN" message, suggesting it hadn't been properly maintained. While some coffee supplies were provided, essentials like stirring utensils were missing. Did I mention ice chest? Of course, there is no ice maker and no ice on the premises. And the hotel style refrigerator didn’t have a freezer. Remember Mardi Gras? Drinks? The absence of a kitchen meant we had to dine out during Mardi Gras, which added over $500 in dining expenses to our trip. While we were happy to enjoy local cuisine, the limited availability during Mardi Gras created another challenge to what was to be a fun vacation. Also, we could have gotten hotel rooms for a cheaper price but paid more money for a KITCHEN which was nonexistent. To prospective guests: If you're considering staying here, be sure to ask detailed questions about amenities, accessibility, and cleanliness beforehand. While the location has potential, these oversights detracted significantly from our experience. Once again, a special thanks to Marcus for his outstanding service—he truly made a challenging situation much more manageable!

When it rained, water was dripping onto the bed. The shower was so gross, that we bought shower shoes to use in the shower. There was no coffee. The door didn't fit the frame so light would shine into the room at all times. The paint had flaked off of the wall and stuck to the floor and then the walls were painted back over. There were cracks in the walls and ceilings. No openable windows. AC did not work. There was no staff on site. We had to take our own trash out. The location was excellent but I would not stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. I've stayed in several comparable properties, and this one is the best Staying in a place like this has a different charm and over all experience than a traditional hotel. Keep that in mind when booking All linens were clean and space was clean. Gave cleanliness a (4) because the room could use a painting. Bed was comfortable. Stayed in the deluxe studio. Easy self check in and out Spaces outside the room were comfortable and inviting Perfect location if you're looking to stay in the quarter

Good not great but still worth the try! It was good but I was expecting great. I booked the stay based on the expectation of a balcony and didnt receive that. The room and bed were both smaller than i would've liked but the location made up for that. I cant say i would recommend, i prefer a more traditional hotel feel and this was lacking in that area. The walls are too thin and the doors could use a stopper as it sounds like a slamming sound all day.

Would not recommend I've stayed in other "older" New Orleans-type boutique properties in the city, and they were great, but I wouldn't recommend this one for several reasons (and I'm not really a "hotel" snob; yes, I understand this isn't a hotel, but a different kind of property). There is no front desk, which I knew but it was annoying, esp. because there was no luggage storage. There is no elevator. They never sent me an email with check-in instructions, so I had to call to get them to text them to me as I was trying to get into the building. You have to take out your own trash, but the check-out instructions only said to leave it in the designated trash area. There are no signs for designated trash drop. I had to call as I was rushing to check out. I found out there were trash cans out front we are supposed to use. This should be stated in the check-out instructions. There was no window. Also, I realize buildings in New Orleans are old, but this was old, musty-smelling, and uncomfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that I messaged the property about to hopefully fix for the next guest. I was only there for a couple quick, busy days during Super Bowl week, and didn't have time to call about this. The walls are extremely thin. I heard an entire phone conversation of my neighbor who came in at 5:30 a.m. Again, I'm not that picky about properties I stay at, but I won't stay here again. If you can't afford much, aren't picky, and just need a place to sleep, then this should suffice.
