Photos do not match what the property looks like. Room was very old and unclean. Bed had cigarette burns on the covers, stained sheets. The door shows light through the cracks and the lock would barely close! The room was soooo small!!! Nothing like what was presented on *******! Sketchy neighborhood. We left immediately! The ONLY positive about the place is the front desk lady! She is a gem! Definitely needs to be recognized for her amazing customer service! She needs to open her own business and be a tour guide to New Orleans! She knows all the spots!

Front desk attendants were overly friendly and offerred to "get stuff" for me. 😉 When I questioned the increase for the second night, the female desk attendant became beligerant. I tried to diffuse the situation and laugh it off, but was summarily told to leave the hotel. As her screaming brought other staff to the courtyard, was rushed out a side gate, leaving prescription medication, toiletries, and a pair of shoes. I later found out it is somewhat a "residential" establishment. Definitely not for the kiddies!

Kindness from Roosevelt made the difference. The hotel was alright but Roosevelt and the kind human he is made the stay and experience all time. The location is wonderful too. I liked everything about the place and very simple but kindness matters most.

parking cher, chambre sent fort la fumée, nettoyage très insuffisant :cheveux dans la baignoire, poussière et sols pas nettoyés. Nos pieds sont noir en marchant pour traverser la chambre. Serviettes pas changée et ménage non effectué durant le séjour. Pas de petit déjeuner et pas de boissons chaudes ni froides. Assez bien situé et pas trop cher pour le centre de New Orleans.

There were cockroaches climbing up the wall as well as flies everywhere a spent blunt and other debris on the floor let alone someone used the toilet & didn’t bother to flush it. According to the “bring Fido” contract as long as we cancel before 11:59pm the date of the reservation we are due a refund of 50% also we did not park in your lot which was $50 & $100 per fee. We found other accommodations. I emailed the manager several times no response. Very frustrating experience!

What a great place to stay in New Orleans!!! Super!!! The location couldn’t be better, and host Teisha also couldn’t be more welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. My only regret is that my stay wasn’t even nearly long enough. I can’t say enough about what a tremendous boon it was to stay there- just ideal, especially as I had never been to New Orleans before and was both ideally situated and assisted to make the most of my time. Am truly grateful and highly recommend it!!!

Cute hotel with very nice owners! The location is super, too :-) We felt very taken care of and ate our breakfast outside in the courtyard. There was parking there for 25$, and because it was a quieter day they let us leave our car there until the afternoon. Thank you!

Could be a lovely little guest house if it was cleaned at some point. The pictures show exactly what I mean! We did say something but this went right over the managers head or he chose to ignore, however he was friendly but he needs to address to lack of cleaning by the staff.

Beautiful old guesthouse, with nice courtyard. The room # 1 is the worst if you need a double bed request the room in the courtyard or a balcony only have king beds. Front dest lady stated she wished Lee circle had not been renamed to an African American woman, who replied Gen Lee was a slaver. Her culture insensitivity continued when any guest request were made. Had to beg for towels and for room to be cleaned, only once was room serviced in 8 days. Room had black mold and cracks in the ceiling. Had bits all over my body when I got home. Rockhead guests trying to break in to the guesthouse at 3:30am.
