Hotel le Marais

Our second time staying at this hotel… the 1st time was in 2019 before Covid. Hotel had welcome drinks, a bar, and offer breakfast and it was amazing. This time after COVID 2025 nothing was the same anymore. No welcome drinks, no bar in their lobby, and DEFINITELY no breakfast offered. The staffs were all nice but the hotel was not up to par for the price. We stayed here again thinking we were going to get the same hotel amenities like in 2019. They need to bring those things back and step up on housekeeping. The room was cleaned but the toilet was dirty! I provided pics of our toilet. Other than that it was ok.

The location was great....within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The hotel left some things to be desired; like a counter in the bathroom. Maid service was sporadic, had to be requested on 2 out of the 6 days and basically just threw fresh towels in at us those days. Front desk staff was polite and helpful, got coffee packets for us when the maids didn't replace the ones we used. Be sure to try the Copper Monkey for a meal and/or drink next door!

Am excellent location, very close to Bourbon Street for night music but not noisy. Right in the French quarter so good walks around area and to riverside. Clean, good size room, large TV, coffee making facilities and water in room, iron and ironing board. No fridge. No breakfast or bar in hotel but complimentary coffee and water available near lobby. Courtyard and small pool and seating area

Very relaxing place to stay. Don't let the outside fool you, when you walk through the main doors the staff always greeted us and were always helpful with any questions. The hallways and the outdoor area were spacious and beautiful. The fitness room was a good size. There was coffee and water bottles for the guests at all times. The pool and the pool area were kept clean. It was a fantastic area for us to meet and chill with our friends. This hotel is one street off of Bourbon Street and was within walking distance to anywhere in the French Quarter. We all agreed that we would stay here again!

I would give this place a -5 but that’s not an option when I booked it they said they had roll outs so my mom had to sleep on the floor they do not say they have a hot tub they do not say they have a bar they don’t bc theirs 86 other bars around the corner told them about a light not working the first night 3 nights later it still wasn’t fixed my mom walked out of the elevator in the morning their was a bag of chips scattered thru the elevator she told the lady so when I went down 3 hrs later they were still there and the manager that just got there got in argued with me bc the lady before couldn’t clean it up bc she was too worried about cuddling up in a blanket then doing her job and sweeping up the mess so the guests could have a clean elevator and the manager instead of apologizing for the dirty elevator gets in an argument with a guest grade a service I would rather sleep on the streets where they clean every morning then ever think about staying here

I liked the proximity to the French Quarter. I didn’t like the darkness of the bathroom
