It’s in a great location. Walking distance to most spots. Less than a 3 min walk to the pickup spot for the hope on hop off bus. I had to ask for room slippers and a robe. Other than that it was an okay stay. They have an interesting way of obtaining free snack and drinks, make sure to check it out right beside the checkout counter.

Good location, walking distance to major scenic spots. Staff have strong sense of service, responsive to requests, unlimited supply of bottled water. The hardware facilities are quite satisfactory, clean, high definition TV, comfortable bath. Parking fee is a bit expensive, you can only park by them, nearly $60 a day.

The location is very good as you can walk all the touristic streets.
It was amazing to see the Mississippi River from the room.

Fantastic visit for Mardi Gras! Complimentary festive masks and beads were gifted upon arrival. Centrally located with easy access to the French Quarter and to Canal. There’s breakfast available based on Bonvoy status - the lounge was on the smaller side and did fill up quickly. Our room had ample space and excellent views. Bedding and linens were very nice and comfy as one would expect at a JW. Overall, a great stay! Having also stayed at several other Marriott properties in town, the JW will definitely be our Go To moving forward.

Vom Service bis zum Zimmer alles war perfekt und auf Marriott Standard. Modern eingerichtetes Hotel und Zimmer. Mit Dusche (keine Dusche in einer Badewanne) ausgestattet, was für Hotels in den USA eher selten ist. Zentrale Lage direkt am French Quater unweit vom Mississippi gelegen.

We have stayed at some great hotels, but I tell you this one has exceeded all others. From the bellman, to check in, to the cleanliness off the rooms. This hotel is top notch. That says alot bc we have just driven from California and stayed in a number of hotels including other JW. Marriotts! Special thanks to Terrel Tyson, Alford, and Manuel. We even had cold bottles of water in the car when the valet pulled it up!
