The location is perfect , few minutes walk to the French quarter, close to great restaurants in the business district. The building is nice. Our room was a premium room, it was large enough with a good bathroom. The service was ok but not excellent. Overall we had a great time but not sure we would return again.

The hotel is very beautiful, very private, and has a sense of history. The hotel service is also very good. I recommend the bar salon in the hotel, which is very unique.

We loved the location, style, and staff at this hotel. There was a trolley stop very close and we were able to walk around in a very cool part of town (called central business district). There were great restaurants around, including the hotel and pool food and drinks- all good. The amenities were nice and the vibe at the pool was chill. We did not want to leave.

This is a beautiful well run hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, well stocked with everything that we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location to experience New Orleans without the noise and traffic of the French Quarter, but within easy walking distance of many attractions. This was my second stay and I would certainly go back.

This is a seriously well designed members only hotel. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel with the attention to design and detail as this in any other place we’ve stayed. The decor is by studio Shamshiri, and is eclectic at the same time warm and inviting. The front lobby space is a great place to linger with either coffee, lemonade or evening wine. The honor bar is a special fun touch. You just make a cocktail from their premium spirits with your room number, and you can just relax. Not to mention the speakeasy passageway to the lounge across the hallway, with inventive, cocktails, wonderful appetizers, and fun eclectic New Orleans style jazz For lingering even longer. The rooms are extremely spacious well designed superior beds with sitting areas and high ceilings, ample closet, space and well appointed bathrooms. Large shower, large soaking tub and the tile is specifically designed by Shamshiri herself. Free evening, coffee or tea service on request with your turn down. Quiet neighborhood with great restaurants just around the corner. Skip the craziness of the French Quarter to stay at a design outpost. Your soul will thank you! Can’t wait to return.

This hotel is a gem! From the beautiful architecture and decorations to the 10/10 personalized service…you will not regret a stay here. The food and drinks were delicious, our room was well appointed and comfortable, the amenities were plentiful…from the wine and charcuterie every evening to the late night oatmeal cookies…little touches all around to make our stay unique and memorable. We loved the private speakeasy and breakfast room. Room service was amazing. But in the end it was the attentive and caring staff that made the difference for us. We were welcomed by Antoine with a little tour, Mike hooked us up with hard to get reservations, Dante and Megan made us killer drinks and Thaddeus helped us in the mornings with breakfast. 10/10 recommend. ❤️❤️❤️

Few compare. Retains boutique and old world extras despite being taken over by Hyatt. The scent in lobby makes the first impression, wish my life could have that smell. We were allowed to check in around 1030 as soon as we arrived. The extras include delivered coffee service in the morning, honor bar, wine and cheese, speak easy service from Salon Salon via a secret door, warm cookies at night and turn down service. The key is the staff, Mr. Lawrence Lee is an ambassador for the city and made our trip. He gave us history and arranged for a private driving tour with personal history. Location made walking easy and despite the heat a quick soak in a cool tub set everything right. Maison Metiere will live in the lure of New Orleans and our family. Thank you!
