Imagine you and your family enjoying all that the lakes region has to offer. Dogs under 50 lbs allow for extra fee. The lakehouse features a master bedroom (view of the lake) with a queen sized bed, 2nd bedroom with queen sized bed (view of the lake) and a "bunk room" that can sleep up to 3 (bunk bed with trundle mattress). The living room is cozy and comfortable and there is also a 'playroom' with games and toys and can be converted into an additional sleeping area with an inflatable mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer. The living room has a Smart TV with FuboTV to access most channels and a DVD player, no cable available, feel free to use your Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime accounts. Internet access is provided along with a desk area for those who must work remotely. The dining room can seat up to 8 people and includes magnificent views across the lake. A perfect place to watch the sunset while you eat or you can eat outdoors on the lake! Outside, you will find all the amenities including a gas grill, 2 picnic tables, a screen house by the lake, fire pit and access to the nearby beach. It also includes the use of a 40' dock, 3 kayaks (one is a double), and a rowboat along with life preservers. Motorboat access to lake at public beach. Motorboat not included. Summer highlights include great swimming (swim raft included), boating (3 kayaks), fishing (bass, pickerel, perch, sunfish and more), and sitting by the lake enjoying the beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets. Gather around the campfire, roasting s'mores and making memories to last a lifetime. There is also great golf in the area at Kingswood Golf course with views of the lake. In winter there's hiking, snowshoeing, and even skiing/tubing/cross country skiing/fat tire biking at Gunstock (only 35 mins away). For a truly unique New England skiing experience, head to Abenaki (only 15 mins away) for a small community run ski slope with an old fashion rope tow. There is also a skating rink with open skating times. When the lake freezes over, you can walk out the door to ice fish or skate across the pond. Stargazing is great anytime of year and sometimes you can even catch a glimpse of a comet or the aurora borealis while sitting by the firepit! Fantastic day trips to nearby attractions, such as Castle in the Clouds, a hike up Mt. Major, ride on the Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee, make this an ideal vacation spot. There a loads of local hiking trails including Sewall woods which provides miles of groomed cross country skiing trails and snowshoeing paths. Nordic Skier Sports in Wolfeboro provides the rentals and trail pass you need to enjoy a day out snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Shaws Pond Lakehouse is a beautiful spot where you will instantly feel like you are away from it all. It's approximately 1/2 mile wide and a mile long. It has the convenience of being located only 6 miles from downtown Wolfeboro. Access to all the great restaurants, breweries, music and shopping that the Lakes Region has to offer. Just a quick drive into town for Wolfeboro's finest ice cream at Bailey's Bubble for an unforgettable treat. Plenty to do if you want or just relax and enjoy all that Shaws Pond has to offer.
