New Delhi Motilal Nehru Marg Area Hotels

Ruined my trip to India! It was the first hotel we stayed at for the whole trip and this set the bar SO HIGH for all other hotels. It was an AMAZING experience, the hotel looks better in person than in the pictures. Cannot recommend it enough. If you get the chance, definetly go for it!

Hotel management was very cordial and rooms were near and clean. Breakfast was good. As it is in CP, there is no connectivity issue.

It's in the middle of Connote Place, and it's essential for shopping and dining. There are many different types of restaurants, so you don't have to worry about your daily meals. You can also have breakfast for your stay. The staff are very friendly and I think the service is good. However, when it comes to facilities, there is no elevator, so it is a little painful to climb and down the stairs every day. Still, employees will help you when you check in and out, so you don't have to worry about it. The room is air-conditioned, so it's okay with room temperature. It also has a small refrigerator. The safe for valuables is too small to put a notebook pastako, so I would like you to replace this with a large size. Also, the WiFi connection was weak and communication was interrupted during use. This has a lot of room for improvement. Every day, he offered me a big size mineral water ２ book, which was a great help. Water is life in India. I would be even more grateful if you could put a hair dryer in your room.

Very convenient location on Connaught Street and near the Rajiv Chowk metro station. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Hot water comes and goes and is not constant though. Walking on Connaught street you will get lots of people approaching you to buy stuff or scam you into spending money in some way. Overall it is great place to stay if you want to be close to the city centre.

The stay at the emerald hotel was very quiet and there were no problems, but i was bothered by the noise of the train.

Close to the subway station, there are rice shops around, etc. There were flies and mosquitoes in the room, but I think it's okay because it's overseas. The shower is tank type and there is a bathtub, but it was a little disappointing that it was not enough to put hot water in the bathtub.

The room is cozy and comfortable for a single traveller, thr couch is especially a highlight of the room and makes it a relaxing corner. But there is leaking of Water from the showing Partition and the hotel cannot offer harder pillows that makes my Neck Pain worse.

Well, it is reasonably clean. The staff are friendly and it's quite nice. It's my first time in India, so I wonder if it's normal not to have a hair dryer. It's about a 20-minute walk to New Delhi Station, so it's doable if you try. On the other hand, the biggest drawback is that the train tracks are nearby and you can hear the train horns blaring until late at night.

I stayed at this hotel for two separate nights because I did the golden triangle tour in India. The first night I felt more appreciated as a guest and was able to rest well after Travel. The second day was on Republic Day and I just feel the employees working were a little bit jaded. The exception is the bell desk which held my bags for five days during my golden triangle tour. Much appreciated. The first night I stayed through another app on WeChat and was very impressed with the decor and arrangement of the hotel. I was able to witness an Indian wedding with some music outside. The ATM is located in the financial building next to the hotel. For Republic Day, the city surrounding the hotel still had lots happening and worthy of photos. The restaurant service in the Indian restaurant was a little disorganized and took a long time. The salmon was delicious, kudos to chef. The view was not as good as the first night, but I still enjoyed the room itself as the sunrise was better for photo. The room service is exceptional.  I’m not sure if it was because it was dry day and holiday or not, but I feel there wasn’t as much enthusiasm from the employees as the first night.  By room phone, an employee told me to go to the Wine store because they were open and selling on holiday, and a random taxi took me to a scarf shop instead from their lobby taxi line. That was the only disappointment because I still had to pay the taxi to take me back to the hotel after being told that the employee who told me to go to the wine store was incorrect. This was concierge. Otherwise, I feel this hotel is the most affordable, considering the area of the government and embassy. I was told this is a five star hotel and feel that the area is generally safe and clean compared to other parts of the city or beyond the Delhi toll gate. Even though the air quality was pretty high, I was able to get some good photos on the second visit from the room view.  There is a really nice Japanese restaurant in there, and breakfast was good. I slept well regardless. Beautiful hotel with art displays on one of the floors.
