The location is good because of the metro connection but it certainly doesn't have much charm, in fact in the evening it's not that great, the area is also stormed at all hours by various vendors and tuk tuk drivers who you will always find ready to offer you their services as soon as you cross the threshold of the hotel (use Uber to find out how much it costs to go from one place to another). The room was an appropriate size, as was the bathroom, and quite clean, breakfast could be better. I made the mistake of asking the hotel where to buy a SIM, they introduced me to one of their employees, who I then saw hanging around the reception often, who took us by tuk tuk to a travel agency (from which we didn't buy anything because we were informed about the various scams) where I received the SIM but at a tripled price, I'm sure of this because I had initially paid the guy the correct price of 700 rupees but then this gentleman asked for another 1300 rupees to get to about 20 euros. Of course there should be a surcharge for the service but when you get to this level the reputation of the hotel is also at stake as it uses less than honest collaborators. On the way back we preferred not to take the tuk tuk to avoid running into some other request, so we set off on foot towards the metro to explore the city. Ultimately, ok if you have to stay a couple of days in Connaught Place but don't ask for additional services.
