The place had bugs the door did not lock broken furniture I had to leave the same day

Visited in July 2025. Incredibly rude staff upon checking in. Found BEDBUGS in our room (215, off the elevator). There was a huge one right on the wall above the armchair. When we called the front desk, they said it NEVER happens and sent up an older gentleman IN HIS SOCKS to come investigate. He was complaining about his leg as well which was just very odd to me. We go down to the front desk to ask for a different room and the main person was strangely combative. They claimed they never had that problem with bugs and this must be the only one. I raised my eyebrows in disbelief and he became very insistent that he “wasn’t just saying that” and it “never happened”. He then goes on to say the bugs MUST HAVE COME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. At this point I was grossed out and offended that he suggested we might have brought the bugs and left the establishment for another place. I was incredibly disappointed by the way they handled the situation. Bedbugs are a risk you run at any hotel, but I have never had a hotel employee react in this manner as if their guest was the problem. I would gently suggest looking at other options before settling here. Photos of the bug attached below.
