We loved our stay here. So relaxing. Our room was just perfect. The pool area was fun. The housekeeping staff was prompt and so friendly. We were even able to walk to Gruene Hall to listen to some good music (half mile, but do-able). All in all, our stay was just great. We can't wait to come back again!

Girls outing for a birthday. Did not want a hotel. This property is older but is so unique with the cutest cottages. The outdoor spaces are extremely well maintained. Fantastic pool!!! So clean and refreshing and partially shaded. This property is near a busy thoroughfare but it didn’t affect how relaxing it was. Could not see traffic or hear traffic while inside the room. Very private. Will definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed a Gruene Cottages a few times. Always our first choice when we go to Gruene.

Beautiful place to stay! It was a clean and comfortable place. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft. The only draw back was it was a bit noisy at night however it got quiet as the evening progressed. It’s within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. We felt comfortable walking during the day however we took Uber in the evening. Uber was convenient and adorable.

Beautiful place! Close to Gruene Hall. Very well maintained, quiet, comfortable, great amenities, super easy booking, convenient check in/out. Very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed 2 consecutive Mondays, and I can’t wait to go back when I can stay longer!

The bed was amazing! It’s one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in!!!The pillows and bedding were first class all the way ! The staff went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable . We will go back and stay again. The grounds are perfect !!! Beautiful !!!
