Travelodge by Wyndham New Braunfels

Stole my money and had me arrested for criminal trespassing. The front desk and the owner told the police I never paid. Crooked hotel

Abandoned cars, people hanging out around the halls smoking/vaping, steep & slippery stairs. The whole place was horrible.

The staff was not helpful, rude and very combative. The breakfast consisted of milk, sitting out in a pitcher for however long and rotten orange juice in the dispenser. When I tried to contact the front desk, the hotel staff was 50% away from the front desk. If I could rate a negative number for the overall experience for this hotel, I, definitely, would.

I have had nothing but a great experience every time I stay here. I don't have a permanent residence right now so I stay here alot. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I love staying here and the price is great.

This place is the worst hotel I ever stayed on 40 plus years I have been traveling. Room conditions were terrible as it looks like someone had forced doors, pealed off paint and old carpet in really bad shape. Bathroom shower and sink faucets were old and lacked maintenance. There was mold around the toilet and as others indicated real big roaches. On top of closet there was an attic access and I noticed rat poop. Please avoid this place at all cost

Place was clean and reasonable. Had no problems during my stay and it was close to a lot of shopping centers and Bucees. Also very close to other small towns around the area. A very centralized location if you want to visit Wimberly or Gruene and the river amenities.

We paid for two nights and when we got into the room my daughter laid on the bed and started screaming Mom there are roaches on the ceiling! Around the same time my friend came out of the bathroom saying there are roaches in here. We grabbed our bags not wanting the roaches to get into our belongings and come home with us and went straight to the office. We were told he couldn't do a refund. We were there for not more than 10 minutes. We had to book a room elsewhere which was another 400.00. We went to talk to the manager the next morning and he refused to give us a refund. Totally ruined our vacation due to having to pay for a room we didn't stay in. I cant believe Wyndham would put their name on the insanitary and unsafe property.

Good location as it is close to everything but expensive considering the issues we had. Manager was nice about the problems but when I go on vacation, I don't want to clean toilets etc. No coffee pot in the room either.

They need to fix the lighting in room 116. Only 2 lamps work. The light over the vanity in the bathroom was out when I was here last week and is still out, in addition to one of the lamps in the room. I know this is a budget motel and you get what you pay for, but I would expect sufficient lighting.
