As far as hotels go this was fair. The hotel is an old design, in concrete but actually this gave it quite an appeal in a brutalist architecture style which I found interesting. My room was a good size and comfy with decent shower and bathroom. Staff were all efficient and friendly with plenty of free parking on site. Breakfast was excellent great choice!

Cet hôtel a dû mériter 4 étoiles il y a longtemps et maintenant il ne les mérite pas. Il est étonnant de voir, un membre du personnel sortir de l’ascenseur avec un chargement de linge sale, et celui-ci s'effondre sur le sol...Les clients prennent le même!! Dans la chambre, l'hygiène des sanitaires était médiocre. les plafonds des couloirs mériteraient un peu de rajeunissement. Toutefois, nous avons été bien acceuilli par une jeune femme très dynamique qui a su nous guider pour une balade en ville.

Toujours un agréable moment de passer du temps au Mercure de Nevers. Magnifique salle de petit-déjeuner (repas que je recommande vivement) qui donne sur la terrasse qui elle-même donne sur la Loire (on voit le fleuve depuis la salle). Les couleurs de l'automne sont spectaculaires. La terrasse l'été avec un bon verre est un must ! L'hôtel est bien placé : en passant par le passage des Princes, l'on est à moins de 10 mn du centre de la ville.

L’hôtel est une vieux bâtiment des années 90 vieillissant avec des chambres d’un autre temps : crépis, moquette . Les dégradations y sont nombreuses ( cf photos) . Si le service du petit déjeuné est correct, le reste est comme l’hôtel . Vous arrivez et attendez 15 minutes car pas de personnel à l’accueil . Vous réservez au restaurant mais la réservation n’est pas faite . Au restaurent , c’est la catastrophe . Accueil désagréable par un jeune homme d’une 30 d’année que vous semblez déranger dans sa conversation avec sa collègue en plein crush amoureux, carte très réduite avec des plats essentiellement sortis directement du congélateur . Par contre l’addition est bien sévère . Vraiment pas un hôtel du standard d’un 4 étoiles . Petit conseil, pour moins cher et beaucoup mieux, vous avez le best western où le Kyriad . Trois étoiles de grandes qualités qui respectent ses clients
