Landhotel-Neunburg

The hotel’s homepage promises more than the hotel delivers. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, and breakfast is only served until 9 a.m., or 9.30 a.m. on weekends, and after that the restaurant is closed. Furthermore, reception is only open until 12 p.m. After that there is no staff and you are on your own. If you have made a reservation, you will find your key next to the entrance in an old telephone booth in a key safe. The fact that the hotel is only a type of hotel for tradesmen is not mentioned on the homepage, however. And I understand something different by a country hotel. For me it is just a bed and breakfast hotel, but nothing more. The rooms are OK, but the TV has its quirks. The shower head in the shower also doesn’t work as it should. It does have the option of setting several spray variants, but the settings don’t work at all. For me the setting was exactly in the middle of two options, so you had a mix of rain and massage spray, neither of which worked properly. Also, when we arrived the WiFi that was promised on the homepage didn’t work either. The next day at breakfast it was still not possible to access the internet. Conclusion: For one night if you are just passing through, it is actually OK. But not necessarily recommended for several days or nights.

Well located (accessible) small hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A bit noisy, but I think that's 'normal' given the style of the building. Otherwise we'd be happy to come back. 🙂
