Wir waren 5 Tage in dem 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet :Es ist eine Sauna und ein sehr großer Parkplatz vorhanden. Es können von dem Hotel aus schöne Wanderungen am Rennsteig und in in der Umgebung durchgeführt werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel mit äußerst bequemen Betten. Besonders schmackhafte Küche mit super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstücksbuffet exzellent. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir waren als Wanderer für 1 Nacht im Hotel, die Lage direkt am Rennsteig ist optimal.

Eigentlich bin ich immer mehr als zufrieden im Hotel Schieferhof. Wann immer ich in der Nähe bin, übernachte ich hier. Aber dieses Mal war an Nachtruhe nicht zu denken. Die Zimmer zur Straße raus sind einfach zu laut. Die Fenster schlucken zwar den Schall, aber dann ist es zu stickig im Zimmer (wenn man - wie ich - Frischluftfanatiker ist.
Auch das Kopfkissen geht besser.
Übernachten ohne zu schlafen, ist natürlich blöd. Aber sonst schwöre ich weiter auf das Haus: seine geschmackvolle Einrichtung, das hervorragende Essen und nicht zuletzt das freundliche, immer hilfsbereite Personal.

Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstrasse in Neuhaus am Rennweg. Von hier aus kann man einige Unternehmungen starten. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist auch alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sehr schön gestaltet. Das Bad ist eher klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut, man kann sehr gut schlafen. Auch hier ist alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist vielfältig und für jeden etwas dabei. Gechmacklich wie qualitativ sehr gut. Das Abendessen war klasse. Geschmacklich wie qualitativ auch hier sehr gut. Die Portionen sind nicht gerade klein. Großes Lob an die Küche. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier kann man sich richtig wohlfühlen und genießen.

A very pretty and clean hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The food is delicious and varies on a day to day basis. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The general decor is elegant but comfortable. There are some very helpful staff members.
