We went to the bay hotel in September 2024, and I genuinely do not have a bad word to say about the hotel, location, the staff, the food all was incredible. I was very shocked of how good everything was. The resort was so clean, the cleaners are always working (very hard) the food was unreal, I am Celica I was giving a card on check in stating this, and I only had to take it to the restaurant once and they remembered me every time. There are no kettles in the room but if you ask reception they will get one for you. Lots going on both day and evening. There is a cash point in the palace hotel and always taxis out the front. Would 100% go back. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing holiday for us all.

The hotel is very nice. The territory is green. The staff is experienced and friendly. The show time is very interested. Food is variety and tasty. Rooms are very bright and large. There are so many different activities. One of them is aqua park at the territory of the hotel. The rest here is amazing.

Unhelpful rude staff, lots to do for children but be prepared to pay for everything other than water park. No entertainment around pool unless you are a palace guest and you are unable to sit around palace pool. Snacks throughout the day are nice but the buffet food is disgusting, cold, same every night and undercooked. All inclusive drinks are completely watered down and everything comes out of a machine including spirits! Cleanliness of hotel was its only positive. Evening entertainment was ok, lots of effort put in to shows, We enjoyed our holiday to Bulgaria but only on the days we went into nessebar old town or sunny beach.

Just returned from a week at sol nessebar mare the place was fabulous! So much for the kids to do they where never bored. Rooms are basic but big and ours was cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied. The kids loved the entertainment at night mini disco and then a show. Food isn't the best but kids loved the pretzels ice cream and fruit so I couldn't moan too much!! I'd defo be back it's been amazing for us 3!

Hotel ok, food ok, water park really good, room very basic, on 2nd day we got a nice spot near the pool bar but at about 10.30am this horrid man screamed at us "get out you can not go here you are not allowed" i asked if he could identify himself but he kept screaming at us and refused, by this time my 6 year old was in tears so we quickly moved, a few days later when i saw him i enquired who he was and he physically grabbed me and pushed me. I e mailed the manager when i returned and she replied that it was our fault for not reading the small print. Absolutely shocking.

The hotel Sol Nessbar was clean , rooms based on travelodge carpeted skirting boards etc. slightly dated furniture, single dodgy wall sockets, although food was really impressive!!!. weather was fantastic water park fantastic The staff were miserable Zombies no eye contact neg body language ignorant regarding usage of lifts, children etc, 99% guests were East European quite rude. When walking around other guests and staff would just cut across your path with total indifference to the inconvenience (and danger as a partially sighted person) caused quite unpleasant , without exception all of the few brits there said the same Despite brochure statements Staff did not speak any English whatsoever no communication, no smile, no nothing. information at the hotel was poor. waitress staff would take plates away as soon as you placed your cutlery down quite annoying jet2 rep was polite but had not ever been to the hotel b4 and knew nothing about it. Not what i expected as a single parent with 2 kids paying 3.5k won't do to Bulgaria again!!!!!

Absolutely shocking place, Came on 17th August for 14 days 3 days later looking forward to going home, Cost £5000 to be in the rudest hotel possible. The women in the shop next to pool has a disgusting attitude and should not be allowed to be in the tourist trade, the hotel should be ashamed to have some like that on the grounds. 95% of the staff don't give you time of day, The ones who was pleasant was the reception staff and the host who welcomes you into the restaurant, Entertainment team very little interaction. Food in main restaurant rarely changes and mostly not hot. If you want a sunbed be down the pool for 6 to get your towels out otherwise no chance. Chinese restaurant we booked and left as its sloppy broth. The pool area is good though which is the only positive I can say. Room we had ants in and the bed was hard with a bar sticking in your back on the sofa bed. Can certainly say won't be rushing to come back.

A nice waterpark but the hotel itself very tired, but infested rooms with seriously uncomfortable beds that have clearly seen too many summers. Complete lack of enforcement of any of the rules, in particular the sunbed reservations. The hotels solution was for guests to turf people out of reserved sunbeds causing arguments in the heat. Food was okay but lacked variety, staff worked really hard but were completely disinterested in their jobs or pleasantries. People were rude and hostile due to the competitiveness of everything which left a sour taste in the mouth, the Palace had a nice veranda but all the communal areas such as toilets were worn out in there as well. I would be hugely disappointed in what is supposed to be a 5 star venue, would not book again.
