Communication with front desk staff is difficult at best… staff is clearly lacking in basic customer service skills and my brief exp w female GM Dominique was honestly the most abusive, agressive treatment I’ve ever received at ANY HOTEL.PERIOD…. I was a guest here at IHG express On Route 66 in Neptune for almost a month as my father’s health was deteriorating in a Local LTC facility I was working tirelessly to remove him from despite their every action to undermine my efforts…. Suffice to say it was not a vacation and I was only seeking a quiet clean accommodation to retire to at night…. This was not possible due to the ongoing partiers in adjoining rooms celebrating New Years at top volume in all common areas in king breakfast, hallways, and lobby… hotel did call police but matter never resolved at the time of my departure…. I was informed by GM Dominique that the Neptune Police had been called as I was 15 mins late in checking out ( I had paid over 4,500 for 3.5 weeks in this outdated roadside truck stop -type motel…. I cannot fathom how /why other guests rated IHG expresss Neptune as Good -very Good…. The only thing Good was my leaving the property for my last and final piece of luggage… AVOID this hotel: Front Desk/Management has an outright hostile tone towards guests —- these people Do NOT Deserve your business- u will regret booking this seemingly benign property …ProSpective guests… BEWARE!
