We stayed overnight but would love to return and spend a few nights. Great lodge with friendly, helpful staff and good-sized rooms. Parking is safe and secure. The location within the golf estate is perfect if you want to play golf. The clubhouse is within walking distance and it is safe to walk to it, even for dinner. The golf club restaurant offers great views over the golf course and has good food. Check closing time of the kitchen if you want dinner.

Don't waste your time
I booked into the Presidential suite for 3 nights but stayed for 1 (23 June). Not even close to 5 star. The room door did not lock from the outside, the bathroom tap had a leak and when I tried to close the bathroom door it did not close fully, the TV remote from the room next door was controlling my TV so I could not relax and watch TV, the bed was very noisy and you could also clearly hear the conversations and TV from the room next door. I explained the issues to the manager who said she would speak to the owners about a refund. Later in the day the manager called and confirmed the refund would be done but I should wait a week or so. A week later I get a message from the manager saying there are now new owners (nor mentioned before) and they are still going to meet to discuss my refund. Awaiting feedback and my refund

Lovely location on the golf course, but there was no one available to welcome us and check us in. Access to the pool and outdoors blocked by gates and warning signs about the owners dogs and children. We couldn’t find any one to serve us a pre dinner drink so we went to the golf club. Breakfast had to be pre ordered the night before and was extremely basic. The room was a decent size and the bathroom had a bath and separate shoes. Totally underwhelming experience., very different to our previous visit a few years ago.
