Prestige Inn Nelson

I should give all 5 star for Prestige Inn. Acutally I like to location the best after I stroll on Baker street --- several hotels on trip.com (or ***********) are on Baker street and parking is an issue. Prestige Inn has ample parking, great view to the lake. The only thing is that the rail is close --- 2 trains passing per day and it seems guests are excited on balconies to see the trains! Reception lady is very polite, professional and gave us a free upgrade. Be carefull at booking: a few basic queen room are in half basement(have windows), showing floor B1 on booking page. They don't have air conditioning. Highly recommended this hotel!!! They have Prestige Resort which is 5 mintues walk along the lakeshore, to have pool, restaurants... to enjoy.

Pretty old building but they offer a good service with 24 hour coffee ready on lobby which was good to me. Great locations to reach out downtown and a walk along the pedestrian road

Great renovated hotel in Nelson BC. Very clean lovely new large screen TV. The staff was wonderful. Went over the top to assist us. Price was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Great views of mountains everywhere

Great front staff member at check in. Quick service to check in. Easy parking. Room overlooks lake and walking paths. Beautiful! Rooms are spacious, great beds, shower has good pressure. Only con is homelessness around area but never bothered us. Be aware the train comes literally behind the hotel twice daily with no schedule! We were ok for our stay but staff mentioned it is very loud!! Ear plugs provided lol!

I was expecting to stay at the Prestige on the water not on the road. When checking out I expresses this to the front desk. She explained that am email was sent out explaining the difference, no amenities close to the train and not at the “resort”. However you do get to use the amenities at resort which is a 10 min walk along the water. The staff were amazing and friendly but room is not same quality I am used to with staying at the Prestige Hotels. Our stay was pleasant, the balcony was nice but the train goes by twice; late evening and around 4AM. View is pretty and a Save On Foods is nice and close.
