We booked for 5 nights. Were told it was a double bedded room. It had a 3/4 bed with broken springs with chipboard nailed in place to replace the correct springing. There was only one chair for both of us to sit on. The bed was too high to sit on as your feet wouldn't touch the floor. I had just had a hip replacement and so my wife had to half sit and half lie on an extremely uncomfortable materess. The water was never hot enough to bath or shower. The toilet seat was broken. The food was dreadful. We ordered steak one night with vegetables. It arrived almost raw (I asked for mine well done). All that was on the plate was a steak and potato chips (crisps) no vegetables at all. Another night I ordered shrimps with salad and pasta. It only had 4 half shrimps, no salad and a plate of cold pasta. We left a day early as we needed to shower and clean up and couldn't sleep as the bed was so uncomfortable (room 104) The manager was extremely rood when we asked to get something done about it. I wouldn't give this hotel any more than a 2 star rating and advise everyone not to book to stay there. It completely ruined our stay in Portugal!!

Stay with thermal program breathe better, the hotel keeps a lot of the old, but were all renovated rooms, excellent, very comfortable, spacious, well equipped toilet towel heating, wi-fi works very well, restaurant also renovated more modern, very good breakfast, lunch and dinner good food, well presented and prepared, mineral water of courtesy in dinners and rooms, electric cottage possibility of making tea, The hotel has a large room with a freezer, a large dresser. The hotel also has a loader for electric cars. Possibility to combine stay with the thermal part ( Terms of the Fengeira) benefiting from some discounts for being a guest.
