Jetwing Lagoon is one of the classics of the famous Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, which perfectly blends design with nature. The hotel is located between the lagoon and the Indian Ocean, offering a dual water experience. Surrounded by the lagoon and the natural environment, my room faces the pool-this pool is 100 meters long and is said to be one of the longest pools in Sri Lanka. I got up in the morning and swam 800 meters, which is equivalent to four round trips. I chose this place as the first stop, on the one hand because it is close to the international airport, and on the other hand, of course, to experience Bawa's design!
