Visit started with airport pickup and a traditional candle welcoming ceremony when we arrived. Great service always there when you need them but never intrusive. Very extensive breakfast, well prepared and served outside but the pool with a view across the lagoon. Dining room was very elegant, dinners were well prepared and service was prompt but relaxed. A very pleasant week!

One of the best hotels in Sri Lanka,With an amazing view. The food, services were really nice. Staff starting from the manager were really friendly and lovely. Had an amazing experience. Hope to visit again. And highly recommend others to visit it at least one time . You will thank me later.

Just spent the evening here for the Valentines special. What a magnificent feast, with amazing service in a fantastic location. Everyone one made us feel special and the food was spectacular. Agandau House is truly a magical retreat, a little piece of heaven where tranquility and restoration has brought me home into balance. The house is surrounded by Lush greenery, soothing sounds of vibrant birdlife and stunning views over the Lagoon. The rooms are pure luxury with thoughtful details abound, creating an atmosphere of elegance and comfort. The grounds are breathtaking, inviting you to surrender to stillness and presence. The crystal clear pool is an oasis of refreshment, a heavenly experience. What makes Agandau truly special are the people who have looked after me here. The team are not just staff, I sense they are guardians of this sacred space. I have been held with warmth, attentiveness and space to simply be. This magical place will forever hold a place in my heart. Memories of my stay will always bring a smile from deep within my being. Heartfelt gratitude for the beautiful team and Michel, Not forgetting Louise and Luli who forever i will feel so blessed to have met. Lorna England.

Excellent boutique hotel with great service, great food and overall a great atmosphere. The villa is beautiful, very tastefully decorated and the staff is very professional and attentive. The views of the lagoon are amazing. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel - incredibly welcoming!! Lovely staff who go out of their way to assist and ensure comfort. Premise is wonderfully clean with friendly onsite security. Great indoor / outdoor flow with pool that looks out to views of the lagoon. Spectacular food prepared by onsite chef. The dinners and breakfasts were incredible and it was by far the best food we had in our trip in Sri Lanka!!!

Beautiful hotel with 24 hour onsite security. Very private and our room was spacious with lots of storage & wheelchair access bathroom. Staff were incredibly welcoming & helpful. The chef prepared incredible food each night we had a different menu to taste test. Indoor/outdoor flow with a huge pool facing the lagoon with lounges to relax on. The staff assisted when we required medical attention and also organised yoga and massages for us. Hotel is kept clean and bedrooms are cleaned and restocked each day. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a luxurious experience.

Agandau House ist sehr schön und grosszügig gestaltet und hat eine wunderbare Ausstrahlung. Seine Eleganz und Schönheit erfreut die Sinne und wir fühlten uns so wohl, dass wir vor unserer Abreise aus Sri Lanka ein zweites Mal dahin zurückgekehrt sind. Louise machte unseren Aufenthalt zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis – wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause und wurden nach Strich und Faden verwöhnt. Das von Michel äusserst professionell geführte Personal ist aufmerksam und diskret und der Chef zauberte Gerichte auf den Tisch, welche Gaumen und Auge gleichermassen erfreuten. Wir genossen die frische Brise und Aussicht auf die Lagune auf der Veranda und im Garten, tauschten uns mit anderen Gästen in der kühlen Majlis oder im Salon aus, und spazierten die wenigen Meter zum indischen Ozean, um den Tag mit einem erfrischenden Bier ausklingen zu lassen und den Sonnenuntergang zu bestaunen. Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung organisiert Agandau House gerne mit zuverlässigen Fahrern und zu korrekten Preisen. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit, mit dem hauseigenen Jetski eine Spritztour auf der Lagune zu unternehmen. Agandau House bietet alles, was man sich für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt wünschen kann und ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Zusätzlicher Pluspunkt: Agandau House befindet sich ca. 20 Minuten vom Internationalen Flughafen Colombo
