The toilet was broken. Since the room phone was also out of order, we had to walk to the front desk on the first floor to contact the maintenance staff for on-site inspection. After waiting for 30 minutes, the maintenance staff did not bring any tools to the door for repair. During the period, they left twice to get tools and finally did not complete the repair. The hotel suggested that we change to another hotel, but my family had already gone to bed due to the time difference, so they could not accept the request to change hotels.
The next day, the hotel informed Ctrip that breakfast could be served at 6:30 am on weekdays. Unfortunately, when my family and I arrived at the restaurant on the first floor at 6:40, we were told that the meal would not start until 7 o'clock. The hotel front desk got the time wrong.

It's too dilapidated, and the front desk service is not proactive. They just said there is nothing they can do about the reported situation (the quilt is too thin, the heating is not working)

this hotel not recommend to travel during summer time, because its Air-conditioner is very noisy and not cool at all.

Had afternoon tea and it was amazing it was a new menu and I can highly recommend the sausage rolls and beef roll they were both stunning as was everything else. The member of staff that looked after us was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for her. Would definitely recommend and would go again

Lovely hotel and room. The room had a bath in bedroom, the would accommodate 2 people.
Plenty of various covers and water in the fridge.
Offsite parking near the hotel, which is cheap. A few disabled spots at the side of the hotel.

Straight off the train into the hotel and a friendly welcome by the receptionist. Nice decor in the room especially the bathroom. Plenty of toiletries and coffee, tea, biscuits etc which were refilled the next day. The hallway and lift were clean and tidy. Had lovely hot showers and towels of a decent size. My room was at the front/side of the hotel and my only negative comment would be that the curtains did let the light in around the sides. I would certainly stay here again.

Great location opposite the train station, the high street multi storey car park behind £5 for the day,and just down the road from the town centre. Excellent service with a smile and very positive experience. The breakfast definitely a highlight worth every penny and amazing choice. The bar was good with friendly staff just need to brush up on a martini and lemonade as it's not a cocktail yet priced as one and tasted average at best. Overall well worth the price and will book again.
