The lodge was located on an island what was very special. The view from the room was good. The rooms were nice. Breakfast and lunch were well-prepared. Dinner was a buffet, which was of lesser quality. Activities available from the lodge were limited. A short walk and a canoe trip were among the options. A nice place to stay, but not of real touristic value.

Il lodge e’ in una posizione magnifica con vista lago … ci si arriva in barca ed e’ molto suggestivo Il Lodge purtroppo e’ un po’ poco curato … sembra un po’ lasciato andare Il personale e’ molto gentile La cena un po’ spartana e anche in questo caso ci e’ sembrato un po’ poco curata la sala da pranzo … Camera molto spaziosa e con vista Nel complesso non male ma il Lodge dovrebbe essere un po’ più intrattenuto

I can't remember the last place i would recommend to this degree. It is incredibly beautiful, environmentally and socially conscious, and peaceful. The staff are notably welcoming and the food was delicious. Waking up in a very comfy bed after a great night's sleep to the sight of the lake outside the open room was beautiful

The island is idyllic - Robert and his team provided a great service. The food was good (but wine expensive!). The swimming jetty is very rotten and the steps into the lake have disappeared so swimming is very difficult (unless you go through the mud). The cottages are different sizes and the showers vary in quality. The beds were very comfortable. Despite the slight negatives (and I am sure Robert will be on it when he reads this) we would definitely go again and stay a little longer than the three nights.

This place would have got a 100% rating from me, but was just slightly let down by an electricity black out throughout the night, and no torch was available to move around in the room in total blackness. We were the only guests staying so maybe they didn't want to run the generator all night. Apart from that it was amazing... Beautiful room, excellent service and delicious dinner and breakfast. The views are to die for. I would return in a heartbeat.

Such a fun little island and a great resort to stay at. We planned a day here after spending the night here after gorilla trekking, to do nothing. Just walk around the tiny island and look for the waterbuck, zebras, and donkey. We found all of those with in a 20 minute walk into the jungle portion on a nice little trail. Staff was vey nice.

Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort offers a serene escape with breathtaking views. The journey to the island by boat was a highlight, allowing us to appreciate the lake's beauty. Upon arrival, a tuk-tuk took us up the hill to the comfortable resort. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We stayed for two nights to fully enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and explore the area. We took a delightful canoe ride around the island at sunset and arranged a boat tour with a local guide the following day. While the food was decent, the buffet-style evening meals offered a good variety. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the common areas. It's important to remember that things may not always work at the same pace as in the Western world. The hot water took a bit of time to heat up, but we were warned about that in advance. The overall setting of the island was fantastic, with plenty of birds and wildlife, making it the perfect place to unwind.

Le camere sono pulite e offrono un' ottima vista sul lago. Il cibo è buono e il personale gentile. La location è Estremamente rilassante, c è anche la possibilità di fare una passeggiata e vedere impala, zebre, uccelli vari, farfalle e altri animali.
