This place would have got a 100% rating from me, but was just slightly let down by an electricity black out throughout the night, and no torch was available to move around in the room in total blackness. We were the only guests staying so maybe they didn't want to run the generator all night. Apart from that it was amazing... Beautiful room, excellent service and delicious dinner and breakfast. The views are to die for. I would return in a heartbeat.

Such a fun little island and a great resort to stay at. We planned a day here after spending the night here after gorilla trekking, to do nothing. Just walk around the tiny island and look for the waterbuck, zebras, and donkey. We found all of those with in a 20 minute walk into the jungle portion on a nice little trail. Staff was vey nice.

Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort offers a serene escape with breathtaking views. The journey to the island by boat was a highlight, allowing us to appreciate the lake's beauty. Upon arrival, a tuk-tuk took us up the hill to the comfortable resort. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We stayed for two nights to fully enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and explore the area. We took a delightful canoe ride around the island at sunset and arranged a boat tour with a local guide the following day. While the food was decent, the buffet-style evening meals offered a good variety. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the common areas. It's important to remember that things may not always work at the same pace as in the Western world. The hot water took a bit of time to heat up, but we were warned about that in advance. The overall setting of the island was fantastic, with plenty of birds and wildlife, making it the perfect place to unwind.

Le camere sono pulite e offrono un' ottima vista sul lago. Il cibo è buono e il personale gentile. La location è Estremamente rilassante, c è anche la possibilità di fare una passeggiata e vedere impala, zebre, uccelli vari, farfalle e altri animali.

Tout d'abord le positif : un cadre magique et une vue imprenable depuis notre "chalet" n°6. Un peu plus de style canadien qu'ougandais mais bon, restons positif. Ensuite, les animaux présents sur l'ile. Toujours sympa de croiser des impalas en allant prendre son petit déjeuner. Mais malheureusement le reste... Accueil carrément glacial, on a jamais vu ça ailleurs en Ouganda où toutes les personnes sont si chaleureuses et accueillantes. Ambiance très spéciale en tout cas. La cuisine est carrément catastrophique, vraiment pas attirante et très lourde. Le seul endroit où on a eu faim (et pas de possibilités d'acheter quoi que soit d'autres car on est sur une ile). Quand à l'activité canoé, il faut préciser que c'est avec la barque taillé dans un tronc d'arbre d'une capacité de 8 personnes au moins. En d'autres termes, un engin hyper lourd et peu maniable qui nécessite beaucoup de force surtout si le vent se lève. Mais pourquoi pas si on prêt à faire des efforts... En résumé, un lieu idyllique mais avec des services pas à la hauteur du prix élevé.

Hotel situato su un’isoletta facile da raggiungere con le imbarcazioni locali. Il nostro lodge aveva una bellissima vista sul lago (ma era parecchio distante dalla reception) e immerso nella pace più assoluta. Nell’isoletta sono presenti asini, impala e zebre. Cibo così così, tanto che la seconda sera abbiamo deciso di mangiare sulla terraferma in un altro lodge. Il lago è ufficialmente balneabile ma non ti viene voglia di buttarti.

Lake Buyoni Eco Lodge was a great place to spend a quiet day after many action filled days on our vacation. The island affords a nice nature walk viewing zebras and other animals, birds and plants. Our cabin had a front porch comfortable for reading, taking in the view and watching birds. The staff was attentive and the food good.

It's a comfortable place to stay with a beautiful view of the lake, transportation is easy and affordable. This is a place you would go and enjoy a wife rage of water birds, I enjoyed listening to all kinds of birds whistle, took better pictures of kinds of birds. It also made it easier to reach mugahinga national Park where we did gorilla tracking. It was such a a beautiful experience, come explore with us
