DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL. Absolutely dreadful, building is almost falling down, the rooms are used by the homeless until you arrive when they kick them out. The rooms are dirty, old and nothing like the pictures. Pictures are stolen from another website. Impossible to sleep as on a busy road with noise 24/7. Staff are not to be trusted as we had things stolen from our room when out. If you do book, ensure you take your passport with you! I’ve stayed in many places and this was by far, far the worst. Avoid at all costs.

Front desk staff was very nice and courteous. Mahmoud and Doaa at front desk were so nice and helpful Room was ok, bed was clean and comfortable, got a restful sleep after a long drive from Alexandria, bathroom was clean. really loved the roof top with a view of the pyramids, perfect spot to drink tea and enjoy the sunset view of the pyramids.

They keep changing their name so I am trying to match the photos with location on google maps. I booked 3 nights on *********** under the name "Pyramids Capital Inn". *********** showed location by the ticket entrance to Giza and the room I booked was King room with balcony overlooking pyramids. When I arrived in Giza there was no such hotel and locals did not know. Four people tried calling and it went to voicemail. Eventually a local led me thru many streets back out to the busy main street nowhere near the pyramids location shown on ***********. The room they showed did not match anything on their listing. I asked where was the king room with balcony overlooking the pyramids. They said that room was not available and not at this price. The hotel seemed run down, location did not match what was on ***********, asking for more money for balcony room overlooking pyramids. Too many red flags so I just walked out and went back to the main cluster of hotels by the pyramids to find a hotel. Dishonest if they keep switching names and seems consistent with other reviews. I did not see these at time of booking as they keep changing names and I had match listing by location and photos.

Esperienza pessima.

I would give this business a "0" if it was possible. Where do I begin? No elevator, walk up only by very narrow stairs. Stairway is outside every room and acts as an echo chamber with doors to rooms being opened and closed all night long. Beds consist of mattresses on floor. Bathroom is a large room with a tiled floor, pedestal sink, shower head in the corner, toilet with a leaky bidet running over the bathroom floor, no bath or hand towels. No toilet paper. Flies buzzing in the room. I left after a few hours and they still charged me for four nights.

This place was definitely our worst stay in Egypt! Our stay started with not letting us do the check in before 12pm even though we had been told through messages that it wouldn't be a problem and even told us they would offer us some breakfast as our flight was arriving very early. Apart from that, we asked the receptionist (who by the way changed like 4 times during our one day stay and none of them spoke English at all the only way to communicate was through gestures, and google translator) where we could buy an Egyptian Sim card. He said he would arrange that for us and asked 25 $ for what he told us was a 6GB card. They didn't give us the card until we left the hotel and 300 MB after using the card it stopped working and said that all the Data had been used!!! The day we left the hosts cancelled our reservation giving booking the reason that we didn't show up which obviously was a lie so we couldn't write any comments about our horrible stay in this place. Finally, on our departure we didn't get any breakfast even though it was supposed to be included.

If I could have put 0/5 it would have been ideal. Our stay at the Pyramids Stars Inn was more than disappointing. Firstly, before arriving at the hotel, we noticed an upgrade on the Booking app that we did not request (the upgrade was only monetary since no details of the booking had changed). We were then greeted by a young woman who did not speak English and did not seem to be aware that reservations had been made at this establishment. After waiting for someone who could speak English, we paid the amount in cash (our cards not working abroad and payment not being allowed on Booking). The manager invited us to wait "5 minutes" until our room was ready on the terrace which has a view on the pyramids. This terrace is located on the 5th floor without a lift and there was no offer to keep our luggage. The room preparation which was supposed to last 5 minutes actually lasted 1 hour, even though we arrived in the evening. The disappointment of waiting was even bigger when we arrived in a dirty and noisy room (for example, there were hairs on our pillow). I wish we had more pictures to show than the bathroom but at the time we didn't think of it. The two nights we stayed both had problems: the first was that the curtain rod fell down so we were woken up by a beautiful sunrise at 4am. The second was due to the air conditioning not working for more than 5 minutes. We had to keep getting up to the circuit breaker in the hallway to turn it back on. In addition to constantly trying to sell us extra services, not being very pleasant and putting pressure on us when we left to put 5/5 on Booking, our biggest surprise was when we reported the price increase to Booking and when the platform contacted the hotel, they said that we had never been there (which we would have preferred honestly). It was therefore impossible for us to rate them on the platform or to expect a refund. In conclusion: do not go to this hotel. I don't like to give bad feedback on establishments but this experience was so awful (and from what I can read not exceptional). You will lose your money. Also, the area is really not nice. Prefer a hotel further away, but more comfortable. And since I know that the manager will assure that my opinion is a fake, I would like to pass on a message: working myself in tourism and studying it for almost 5 years, you are a disgrace for our wonderful profession and I hope from the bottom of my heart that your establishment will go bankrupt to leave the place to honest people. And be sure that the travellers' forums, our entourage and all the people who will ask me how our stay was will hear about your hotel and will never go.

Bad experience. We land at 3 am in Cairo, they come to pick us up as we asked, and drop us off in a facility that we thought was the one we had booked for. They don't ask for documents, they tell us to pay in cash. The room is horrible (and we are used to traveling, we are of few pretensions), the door struggles to close, bad cleaning, broken toilet, not to mention the shower. Broken tiles, half-broken beds. The following morning we immediately realize that they had given us the room of another structure, so we immediately communicate it. We insisted on an exchange, and they teased us for multiple hours, continuing to tell us what time an hour our room would be ready. At 9 pm still nothing, until at 10 pm there is a knock to tell us to go to the other hotel. We only get there after a 15 minute walk having first passed through a second hotel, which was obviously wrong. I strongly advise against booking here, not so much for the structure (the one you will really pay for) but for the staff who instead of welcoming tourists, try to make fun of them. Last note: the morning of the first day of course we are not served breakfast, and no one was present at the reception for which we arranged. Obviously, they then canceled our booking from booking, so we can't put the review there.

What a nightmare, the hotel´s owner yells and steals like there is no tomorrow. Horrible, horrible person, get prepared to encounter things you have never seen, when checking in he clicks on "cancel booking", so the agreed before hand payment of 97 us dollars goes up to 138 dollars, unfortunately *********** can´t explain this, I have already talked to 3 different people and they all have different explanation for it, the last was the most frustrating one, explaining that taxes were not included, when I told him that the amount said, taxes and fees included, he had nothing to say, more than: have you booked this hotel directly, and I´m like: would we be having this conversation if I did? Anyways, back to the owner of Pyramid Stars Inn, since my uncle did not have dollars, he is pushed, after an almost 24 hour journey from Jerusalem to pay 133 euros, when I found out about it, I tried to talked to the owner and he said, what is done is done and won´t give any money back, he argued that *********** steals from him and he only wants cash payments, when we tried to find out why the price was increased, he says that *********** gives him the right to change the room, apparently the room they got, which was all dirty, even though we talked through WhatsApp and I did tell him that even though we had paid from the 24th of June, they will be arriving early in the morning the 25th, when they arrived the room was occupied and my family had to clean the room themselves in order to sleep a bit, they ate breakfast and when they told me about the extra charge there was no way to talk to this person, he kept yelling: I´m an American citizen too, like that was relevant, it took maybe 2 hours, back and forth, between him, my family and me listening to them, he does not speak Spanish and they do not speak English, but he did not want to talk to me, I was so mad! Finally, he agrees to give them 118 euros back and keep 15 for the 24th of June, but they wanted them out of his hotel right away. At the same time, I look up the hotel and found that expedia.com had a 3 person room included breakfast for 48 dollars for the next 6 night, I sent him a picture and ask him why he wanted to take advantage of my family, I am not sure if this actually did it, but they could leave and he kept 15 euros. Now I have to deal with *********** asking if they check in, if they cancel the reservation, if they, if they, if they... and calling them is also frustrating, our only hope is that they don´t take any money from our credit card since the cancelation window is gone, so we started to wonder if this was the the owner´s plan all along, to throw them out but get money from *********** claiming that they cancel just too late, *********** says they won´t charge us anything and send us the email the owner sent to them, saying that he was very upset they send such horrible guest, that he did not charge them anything, if that were true they should have some kind of prove, a receipt or credi
