Just booked into this hotel after spending time at a number of places in Greece which have been fantastic. Terribly dissatisfied and disappointed with Kalergis Studios. Firstly the door to room is the worst I have ever seen , terribly hard to open and it opens the top of door seperate to bottom , very cheap indeed and I would venture to say worst security in a hotel / studio I have gone across in over 35 years of extensive travel. Second it’s hot here and took me 50 mins to get aircon to work , by the way the aircon unit is very very old and not very effective if you even get it to work, when say old I would guess over 20 years old. I have only been here for a couple of hours so will update on other issues as they arise. Plus walls paper thin , noise coming from next door can hear everything and constant banging Lighting in room abysmal so dark , also no curtains that block out light with curtains closed people outside can see in plus first thing in the morning you will be awake at sunrise I would rate this room 0 to be brutally honest . I will warn others in Australia through my contacts in the Industry and post reviews to assist others in making an informed decision on if they should stay here. To be honest the rating of 2 is over rated. I work in the travel industry so I feel obligated to warn potential customers on both good and bad in hotels and studios So far this is very bad. Have never done this in over 40 years of travel but contemplating checking out if I have further issues and moving to another hotel Only positive the girl on reception is very helpful and professional and I thank her for her efforts so far. I have stayed at these studios 5 times. Love the beach location, approximate to town and magnificent view. The studios are roomy and light and equipped to cater to basic meal preparation. Lovely cafe/bar right in front.

Kalergis studios are right on Saint George beach and only 300m from the port / town centre. Our room had a private balcony and offered a fantastic beach view. The Studios offers daily cleaning services, is air-conditioned, has a safe deposit box and fully equipped kitchenette. Stylishly furnished and immaculately clean. The young gentleman @ reception (sorry forgot his name) was friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend and return.

My husband and I loved our stay at Kalergis Studios. Communicating with the owner before our stay was super easy. The hotel is in a really great location; it's only a five minute walk to some of the best restaurants in Naxos. Not to mention Vamos, the nearby beach bar, where you will get a discount. The easy access to beach chairs, umbrellas and delicious cocktails was great. The room was spotless and the a/c worked quite well. If we were to return to Naxos I would definitely stay here again!

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato al Kalergis studios grazie al suggerimento di parenti (greci). L'hotelino e' molto grazioso e si trova proprio sopra la spiaggia, il che lo rende molto comodo se si hanno bambini piccoli, soprattutto le camere al piano terra che hanno la veranda sul giardino e, quindi, direttamente sulla spiaggia. Le stanze sono curate, pulite e spaziose con un piccolo cucinino dove si puo' fare colazione. Il supermercato e' a due passi per comprare tutto il dispensabile. La macchina per il caffe' americano e' disponibile su richiesta alla reception. I poprietari sono gentilissimi e sempre a disposizione. Lo consiglio sia a famiglie che hanno bambini, ma anche a coppie giovani come noi, perche' e' comodo se ci si vuole rilassare in spiaggia, e' vicino al centro se si vuole camminare la sera senza dover prendere motorini o macchine, ed e' nella spiaggia piu' turistica e vicino anche a centri di windsurf per chi fosse interessato.

Stayed here in June for 3 nights and couldn't have asked for more. Perfect location - 6 minute walk to beautiful town with quaint shops in cobbled back streets and lovely restaurants, all of high standards and reasonably priced. Lovely beachfront on a great beach, good local transport links. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Room very comfortable, well presented & very comfortable brand new beds. Will be recommending to all my friends and family and I hope to return one day. Recommend for families and couples who want a quiet relaxing holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Room 5 on the ground floor, steps to the beach. The room is two star simple, clean and basic, (didn’t need anything more) with a wonderful trellised patio. The servers at Vammos beach bar would serve you on your patio if you asked! Stepping out for breakfast and cappuccino at Finkas on the beach every morning was such a bonus. Loved our mornings there. Kalergis is on the beach (umbrellas and loungers in front) sort of hidden and a 5-10 minute walk to Old Town and Naxos waterfront. Location couldn’t be better. Parking is pretty close by and the staff very helpful and friendly. Laundry service for cost was a bonus. Compared to the prices we paid in Santorini for much more luxurious accommodation, we liked our stay at Kalergis better! We wish we had stayed an extra day in Naxos and one less in Athens. Rented a car for 2 days from Carman Car Rental.

The property carries a two star rating that is deserved, but don’t take that as a negative. The place is clean, provides value for money, and is a touchdown pass from the water’s edge. Can’t ask for much more from a economy property, though 30 EUR daily for lounge chairs (discounted to 25 for hotel guests) from adjacent waterfront restaurant is indicative of the inevitable onslaught of overtourism that is headed this way.
