The Apollon Hotel oozes 'character'. From its vaste collection of antique and vintage furniture, my double room had two wonderful terraces and was spacious and comfortable. I was impressed that befs in the hotel have electric underblankets which keep you warm all night during winter temperatures. Split air conditioning for heat was also very helpful in keeping warm. The location of the hotel is amaxing, two minutes walk to the orthodox cathedral and the on site metropolis museum; five minutes walk to the ferry port where ai took the blue star ferry to Paros for the day and a well stocked international supermarket 'Pantelis & Co' within 3 minutes walk. I emphasise the importance of having such a supermarket near by the hotel as there us no breakfast served during the winter months. There is an electric kettle in the room as well as tea, milk and coffee and I also used the boiling water to make instant porridge/oatmeal in the morning and instant 'cup of soups'
from sachets with a sandwidch in the evenings. My room was cleaned daily and towels changed if requested by the guest. While there is no one present at reception during the winter, the owner George was reachable 24/7 by mobile phone and gave me his telephone number when I arrived at the hotel. Overall, good value for money and tge electric blankets were a welcome touch!

A really nice small hotel. Lovely antique decorations and ambience. Friendly and very helpful staff. Convenient for ferries and port *****. Quiet. All round excellence!

Walking distance from port, approximately 5-10 minutes. The hotel is not fancy. Has the feel of a bed and breakfast, minus the breakfast. The owners are very friendly. The hotel is extremely well located in that it’s just on the edge of “old town”. The beach, st George was maybe a 30 minute walk. Temple of Apolo, 10 minutes

Nice, old fashioned hotel that reminds of the hotels in country towns I stayed in when I was a kid. The Apollon provides clean, comfortabe rooms with everything you need. It also has a lot of history and charm and is very conveviently located in a quiet part of Naxos town.

Excellent hôtel, chambre grande et jolie, impeccable, possibilité de garer la voiture de location tout près si on prėvient à la réception. Bien situé, à deux pas du port, de la vieille ville et des restos. Un seul bémol : pas de petit déjeuner (de quoi faire du thé dans la chambre, un balcon pour le boire, et les bistros du front de mer sont tout près). Nous étions en mai, peut-être en juillet y en aura t'il ? Excellent accueil et conseils de Despina et l'autre dame (Pas retenu si nom)

La struttura è perfetta per un soggiorno medio lungo a Naxos! Le camere sono spaziose e luminose, possono avere vista mare o vista sulla chiesa (vedi foto), il personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi tipo di esigenza e di informazione da fornire. Io non finirò mai di ringraziare Oreanthie per la gentilezza e la rapida risposta con cui è riuscita a spostare il mio soggiorno di una settimana. A piedi in 3/5 minuti ci si ritrova al molo d'imbarco dei traghetti, al terminal dei bus, all'old market, al lungomare e all'imbocco della strada che conduce alla Portara. È la prima volta in anni di viaggi che mi viene da dire "soggiorneró nuovamente qui" il giorno che tornerò a Naxos!
