Natural Bridge Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

This was a great location for an event we were attending. Nice historic hotel, she just needs a bit of an update. Housekeeping could do better as well. Beds were comfortable and overall not a bad stay. Do try to get there early for parking though. If you have to park in "backlot", highly recommend a flashlight!!!

Hotel was older & could use some repairs, however the room was great. The beds were very comfy, best in our entire trip & we stayed at way more expensive places. It was nice to have a room in the front with the balcony. Pleasant to sit outside & look at the Mountain View. One bag thing was none of the staff were friendly. It’s almost as if we were bothering them by checking in. Even the manager was at the desk when I checked in & never acknowledged me , nor spoke. Guess you can’t blame the front desk person for being unfriendly whenever you have a manager who does the same. Clean house of the staff & this was be a great place.

Very nice property from outside! I’m usually happy if the place is a 3 on 1-5. Shame on Wyndham for not taking care of this Historic Hotel. I didn’t pay attention to some reviews but wish I had…Needs a remodel! We arrived to lobby no air condition and the smell of mildew in lobby & room. Should have known the rest would be like.We toughed it out! King room on 3rd floor. Air conditioner worked in room but wonder if maintained. Carpeted rooms yuk.. poor sleep quality, amenities, bath towels & sheets yellowish looking… Staff good considering what they have to work with… Booked through Wyndham -Never even received a hotel survey. Wonder why!

Hotel has a lot of great history but financial investment is needed to address much needed maintenance. Lobby, restaurant and tavern was without sufficient AC. Peeling paint, room towels that were dirty and had holes in them and a breakfast ordered off the menu that was never delivered were some of our experiences. We love the Natural Bridge area and have stayed at this hotel many times over decades. Unfortunately, the place has lost its glory and its best years seem to be in the past.

We decided to stay at this hotel because it is so close to Natural Bridge Park. It is an easy walk to the park. The main entrance looked very nice and the restaurant looked nice, be we didn't eat there. Our room was dilapidated but very clean. The bed was comfy, had fridge, cable TV, very basic, but worn furniture. The ceiling was pealing and floor boards looked moldy, but everything was clean. Bring your own soaps; theirs are really cheap. It was not luxurious, but was quiet, near the park, and clean. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. There were cheaper places further away, and they may have been in better shape, but this was ok.
