Have stayed here before on several occasions and found it a very pleasant stay. Stayed there on 9/25/2024 and had terrible experience. 15 minutes to check in desk clerk texting to ask manager if I could check in, door to room stuck had for force open, dirty waste basket with used coffee cup, spackle tape on ceiling loose and hanging. No facial tissue in room. Asked front desk person for tissue said would be brought up, never received. Would not recommend this place again

Let me just start out by saying it's a neat Hotel the staff is fantastic the breakfast is fantastic they serve it to you so you don't have to touch everything which is fantastic during this bad Co bed time but the hotel is old and that's okay cuz I'm old and I like old stuff I love historical stuff and this is a historical place the bad thing is this place is dirty with a capital D it is my opinion that they only come into the room after you leave to clean the bathroom and replace the sheets and towels the towels are so so rough and uncomfortable to use when you get in the shower I would bring my own towels if you're planning on staying here it's like they just throw them in the washing machine get them out and put them in the dryer they are extremely rough the shower itself has not been cleaned since Hoover was president there's mold the mirror in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned and I don't know when they haven't dusted in months there's dust everywhere the bed is comfortable but old and that's okay as long as it's clean and bug free that's okay you get a good sleep here the staff is fantastic here at the breakfast is fantastic here but somebody needs to clean the place up in my room when you flush the toilet to shower comes on would I stay here again yes if I brought my own towels and sheets and cleaned myself when I got here but this could all be avoided by just simply cleaning the place up

My one night stay at Chateau Saint Denis was absolutely wonderful. I drove in close to midnight and the lady on the front desk was very pleasant and made the check in process so easy. Best night sleep, comfy pillows, clean bathroom and towels which was greatly appreciated after a long day of driving. The next morning I woke up and decided to go upstairs for breakfast, and I say upstairs because I was on the first floor(very convenient to get to the rear parking lot from). I was met with warm smiles and everything was great. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I am traveling back that way!

From walking through the doors arriving, my husband and I felt so welcome. We were greeted by a manager asking how our trip there was and where we could get a cocktail that was much needed. Our room was perfect with its cute balcony, also perfect for afternoon cocktails. The bed was a dream, but I wanted to change my address to the shower. Wow. The hotel was so conveniently located. We walked everywhere, and didn't really have to worry about getting lost. Over all, our experience was phenomenal. 10/10 Would go again.

I was ok with my stay. I got the junior king suite and it was spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the river. Although the air condition did keep the room cold, the unit is loud. I don't mind a "white noise" but when the units toggles on and off all night, makes for a broken sleep. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the breakfast, even thought on the bill the "value added fee" is for the breakfast. I had to leave super early. Parking wasn't good. Minimal spots next to hotel. And since people park janky, hard to get space. Since my room was in the far back, I used the back stairs every time I came and left. These doors stayed unlocked. I didn't mind. Outside was lit up and appeared to have a working security camera. I felt safe. Because the back door opened to the back part of lot and that's where I parked. 3 flights of stairs suck, but beats walking all the way around to the elevators and lobby. And around the building in the elements. The bath tub wasn't clean. There was mold/mildew build up under the drain. Even though my stay was average, it was convenient. I may stay here again. However, I would be stupid not to try any of the 47 B&B's in the area.

Vetta and crew helped me get settled and my room experience great. I called for a touch up and they met my needs swiftly with grace. Third stay in several years. Glad they have quality and wholesome people. God bless and keep it going staff. If you have an issue talk to them and they fix it in time. Also gym is good but you gotta take a walk by the water and run/lunge the stairs/inclines. Then church at Agape Love Center which help me get back on track with peace not judgement.

Sent email to confirm reservation. No response. Handle to control shower on/off came off in my hand. Couldn’t reseat. Too late at night for any resolution. Next morning I asked for new room for 2d night-no problem. Breakfast (included) was plain and barely warm. 2d morning experienced a total power outage when I awoke at 8:15. No backup generator. I had to leave my 3rd floor room via dark interior stairwell which had no emergency lighting (I used my iPhone light in one hand, my luggage in the other. This was at 9:15. Desk didn’t notify guests of the issue, or how to escape w/luggage. I skipped looking in at breakfast. I have no idea how older, or handicapped guests, were able to leave/check out. Beds are almost too high for me to get onto (I’m 5’9”), but they are comfortable. Knit sheets.

1. Housekeeping did not replace coffee/cups nor clean bathroom. Shower was filthy. Bed poorly made. Soiled linens in hallway all day. 2. Repairs are unsightly if made at all. 3. Floor ways outside elevators were dirty 4. There was NO WATER to purchase in the entire hotel at 9:30 pm 5. Guest Service personnel at front desk did not look up or speak unless approached and spoken to first. 6. Many dining room chairs are torn.
