First-class service, a car is available for pick-up and drop-off. 4. Accommodation comes with two meals a day, breakfast and dinner, and the ingredients are excellent. The following are my thoughts when I checked in in November 2023: From Xiyun Pavilion down the mountain to the town, there is a Buchuan River and a red leaf suspension bridge. The colorful scenery you can see is the tree species that were designed and selected before planting trees in the early years. The heights are just right.

This was my second time staying at Shiobara Shinyu Onsen, since I stayed at Shiobara Kogen Hotel before. The pH 2.6 acidic water is the best! Perhaps because the source is close, the ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) of the hot water outlet in the bath was 0 to -10 mV, which was a solid reduction type of water (actual measurement). However, no matter how many times I measured it in the bath, it was about 400 mV, and it was oxidized. Perhaps because the source temperature is high, they have no choice but to let a small amount of water flow, and it oxidizes by the time it flows into the bath? It's a bit disappointing. The staff's response was average, but I had a good impression of the Southeast Asian waitress. After arriving at the inn at 2:30 p.m., I had to wait in the lobby until exactly 3 p.m. It had been a long time since I'd had such an experience. Most inns allow you to check in early, but...

I visited for the first time and all the staff were very nice. First of all, that made me happy.I could feel the attention to detail everywhere.Women could rent a yukata to choose from, and personally I was happy that there was a waist cord tied under the obi.Every time I went to the ryokan, Meals are served in the room.It was more than enough.Breakfast is also satisfactory.The baths are mostly not shared with other guests, and there are only two private rooms. However, I was able to use it many times without waiting.For some reason it was warm depending on the time of day.The amount of hot water is rather small, but you can enjoy the cloudy sulfur spring.Are you an expert onsen? It may feel a little unsatisfactory, but it's not far from the city center, so if you're looking for cloudy hot water in the Kanto area, I think you'll be satisfied.

旅館のみなさん親切で感じもよく気分良くステイできました。 ご飯は量もさることながら味付けもバッチリの私好み。 大変満足です。部屋食なところも高評価です。 そしてお目当のお風呂でしたが最高でした。露天風呂は風に乗ってやってくる硫黄の香り。空を見上げればまんまるお月様。 静かな空間を独占しながらお風呂に入れたのはこれまた最高でした。 塩原温泉は何度か利用しましたがこちらの宿が一番のお気に入りです。 また行きたいですね。
