I had an old acquaintance's wake in Nasu-Shiobara at short notice, and had been curious about the hot springs there, so I decided to go.
The hotel staff were very kind and helpful.
There were lots of baths to enjoy.

The food and facilities at the inn were good. However, I was not satisfied with the fact that if you make a reservation through this site, even a 2-year-old child will be charged an adult price. I will no longer use this site.

正月に宿泊しました。お部屋は湯仙峡の和洋室を利用。お部屋は比較的新しく4人家族でも十分な広さでした。お風呂も色々な種類があって楽しめました。夕食のビッフェは食べきれない暗いの種類があり、味も美味しかったです。ただ、大規模ホテルなのでお風呂は子供達が沢山、ブュッフェも人だかりでゆっくりは出来ません。私は予想していたので特にこのお宿のマイナスとは思いませんでした。食後にバルーンアーティストのショーも見て家族一同楽しめました。全館コロナ対策はなされていて至る所に消毒液が設置されて、ブュッフェもお隣とのテーブルの距離が1.5mから2mくらい確保されていました。気になったのは駐車場はちょっと遠くて不便だな、と思ったことくらいでした。また利用したいと思います。

ブュッフェの種類が豊富でボーリングも楽しめます。
ブュッフェは朝夕とも種類が豊富で、つい食べ過ぎました。2段式のカートがあり、お盆を持たなくても良いので、特にお年寄りや小さなお子さんを抱いている人にはありがたいと思います。離乳食もちゃんと用意されていました。乳児が居ないので種類は分かりません。夕食後は19時から利用出来るボーリングを楽しみました。ボーリングは10レーンありますが、すぐに全レーン埋まり、老若男女問わず楽しんでいました。利用していませんが、カラオケもありました。ゲームコーナーはクレーンゲームメインでした。建物自体は古く少し昭和感が漂っています。あと、部屋にウォーターサーバーがあるのも良かったです。ただ、夕食の時間が到着時間で決められているので、到着しないと何時から夕食か分からないです。
