We were staying at the other resort. Me and my family decided to have dinner at Pamana's bistro bar, El Cocinero near the beach . Food and drinks were great not to mention the courteous waiter who's always anticipate our needs. We had a good time, until its time for us to go back in our resort. It was around 11: 30pm we finished eating and time to head back to our hotel. I asked for the toilet's location and the waiter eagerly showed me the way. After which, my daughter's friend told me that the guard named Alfred refused to let her use the toilet and we are not allowed to walk down the small driveway to exit at the gate. I told Alfred that we're customers and we prefer to exit at the main road instead of the beach since its already dark. He said, its not allowed because the "resort is exclusive". Alfred brought us to another guard named, Dinglas, the second guard. He claimed that the resort is exclusive and its not allowed for us to use their walk small driveway to exit the gate. Straight away, I felt offended and ask for the manager. 15mins I waited and no manager arrived on the scene. I told Mr. Dinglas, I refused to walk down the beach because its already dark and I would just write to his manager or to the owner of Pamana via website. I pointed out to him how offensive their rule is. It's RUDE and UNCIVILIZED. I have worked for an international airline and had been stayed at 5 star hotels in the last 29 years, also stayed in many resorts in boracay and non of these institutions have ever treated a paying customer like this. I want to let the management of Pamana and its owner that such policy isn't par to international standard, not even to Filipino customs. I hope this message would help you change your hostile policy towards your walk-in dining customers. I suggest otherwise, that do not allow other customers to dine in -for it would just ruin your their holiday if treated the same. Moreover, create a welcoming atmosphere instead of intimidation.
