La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Nashville Downtown/Stadium

'Superfirstly', this La Quintas has the most amazing staff; above and beyond assistance, friendly, welcoming, kind and I mean EVERY staff member we encountered from desk to behind the scenes who we passed in the elevator, arriving at work, EVERYONE!!! deep appreciation to staff members, Diamond who literally 'concierged' us in, and was in charge of our floor and, Kumani who lent us an umbrella, Tracy who was so kind when he came to attend to the TV that was in fact working, the Check in staff on the afternoon of the 27th July who gave great advice and the staff member who brought us additional toiletries we required. (edit) one super comfortable pillow out of the 3 on each bed and a firm, comfortable mattress - perfect for us. Firstly, it was practically, fantastically 10 minutes' walk into Downtown via the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge for sights over the Cumberland River of Downtown and the Nissan Stadium. It's been modernised compared to La Quintas elsewhere, but do not order the Onion Rings at the bar (horrid)! the 'dry rubbed wings' were great! Otherwise, the bar and seating/lounge area is welcoming, but I never tried the breakfast. The car park was easily accessible and one of the best prices in the area. All in all, our experience at La Quintas in Nashville, Stadium contributed positively to our overall fantastic short stay and hopefully, building works (no noise) across the way will be complete when we stay again in the future.

Great location and service. Everything was clean and nice. Definitely recommend for a Titans game or downtown Nashville.

A lot to like but one major thing, they charge $25 a night for parking. Missed that in trip advisor When you go to LA Quinta website it says "on site parking" fees may apply. There is no "may", you park you pay. I was ready to swallow that fee but the air conditioning shut off in my room overnight and was hard to sleep, went to front desk and manager Dave said he would delete the parking fee but nothing about not having ac (extreme heat advisory this week) & I could get another hotel if I wanted. TVs aren't smart so when we went back to the room a little early we were bored. Decided to play on phones but usb outlets next to the bed were broken, though others did work. On the positive side, rooms were clean, breakfast was good, lobby had a classy bar and amenities, employees were mostly nice and not afraid to ask for a trip advisor positive shout out as they are incentivized $10 if thier name is mentioned (seems fair and effective to me). If you are going to Nissan Stadium, it's a great location, but nothing else is walking distance other than a 7-11 that had an all hood clientele including a homeless man sleeping on the ground. I wouldn't say the hotel is unsafe, but on the other side of the rt 24 highway is the hood. Pro tip, instead of getting a car, rent electric scooters or bicycles, as they are cheap, easy to park and fast enough to be exciting. Just don't cross rt 24. Look up Lime scooter rentals. People leave them all over the place and you just pick it up and drop it off anywhere you want! There were a few left around the hotel. Driving in the city is not a problem, but parking is almost non existent and or very expensive . Hope this helps someone, plesee like if it helped you and you can help others this way.
