The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The gentlemen working valet were outstanding—professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They managed my needs seamlessly while also handling several demanding guests with grace and efficiency. Their level of customer service was truly impressive, and each of them has a bright future in hospitality. The room was meticulously clean and exceptionally well maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable. One unexpected highlight was the water. As someone who frequently visits Nashville, I've often had issues with the local water. Whatever treatment is used typically irritates my skin and can even make me feel unwell, to the point that I usually use bottled water just to brush my teeth. To my surprise, the water at this hotel was wonderful. I experienced none of the usual issues and was able to use it without any discomfort. It may seem like a small detail, but it made a significant difference in the quality of my stay. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville, TN.

I had a wonderful experience at The Joseph. The hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The service was consistently friendly and professional — every staff member I interacted with made me feel well taken care of. The on-site restaurant and bar exceeded expectations with high-quality food and a great ambiance. The rooftop pool and bar were definite highlights — the views are stunning, and it’s the perfect place to relax. I was also impressed by the excellent selection of wine, which added a luxurious touch to the experience. Highly recommend The Joseph for anyone visiting Nashville who appreciates comfort, style, and great hospitality.

This hotel if lovely, great rooms, nice restaurants and bars! The location is good for walking to Broadway and also for quiet. The view from the rooftop bar and pool is fabulous. We enjoyed drinks and hanging by the pool. Just know that the pool can get crowded and there can be a waitlist for lounge chairs, wish we would’ve known. We would definite stay again!!!

The Joseph Hotel in Nashville is really an amazing and affordable compared to any other 5 star hotels around the world. They offer first class service every time I come. I’ve began coming to the Joseph hotel once they one a few years ago and I’ve never had a single complaint. This year alone I’ve been to Nashville at least 6 times and I in this hotel every time. They have a perfect rooftop bar that offers a luxury and exotic atmosphere that makes you forget you’re even in Nashville compared to the trips I’ve taken to different islands in the world. The roof top bar reminds me of the Bermuda island, Jamaica, Cancun, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. They have pool, a bar, a sitting area inside and out and also a couch coverage. Every time I drive up to the entrance door the valet staff is awaiting my arrival and ready to open the door and be the first to welcome you to the hotel. It’s amazing how everyone communicates so clearly and effectively. I feel like family every time I stay. Special thanks to the waiter Jan Lee for a wonderful experience and very knowledgeable when eating at the luxury restaurant in the Joseph Hotel. The welcome team at the restaurant inside the hotel were extremely exceptional as well. I will be booking another stay with the Joseph hotel and I know that I’m going to be treated like family when I walk through those doors. Great location, a chill atmosphere and vibe, the rooms were well appointed- love the Nespresso machine and the bath/shower products! The meals and bar prices seem to be what I expected. The highlights of our experience included the staff! Special shout outs to John, one of the concierge staff and Faith in the restaurant. Both were so thoughtful and went above to make our experience very nice!

Maybe this is just me and my own odd idiosyncrasy. But some hotels, The Joseph included, are not using fitted sheets anymore. I don’t know why. So they use a flat sheet and tuck it under. But you can’t tuck a fitted sheet so that it doesn’t move as you move in bed. What happens is, unless you lay still like a mummy, you switch sides, you roll, you move your legs, and the sheet under you moves too. By the time you wake up, it’s no longer tucked in and wrinkled. I hate wrinkled sheets under me and feel like a cricket constantly trying to straighten the wrinkles with my feet. Sleep quality is really the number one thing to make sure is done well in a hotel. It’s not a bad hotel overall. But that’s a dealbreaker for me.

This is a lovely hotel It was Immaculately clean, with a mostly very polished, helpful and considerate staff. The room was stylish and comfortable. I ended up there by accident after the hotel staff across the street were far too rude for me to be willing to stay. I had a beautiful breakfast there as well and they have really great Croissant. I liked the vibe as well. People were genuinely pleasant (perhaps one minor exception) without the faux fawning of some 4 Seasons properties. One thing that needs improvement is windows. Too much noise from street (sirens). I believe if it was fixed they would be truly elite.
