Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt Area

The hotel was very clean with great en suite amenities. Staff were very friendly and although I didn't have breakfast included there was free coffees every morning

Fun hotel that is close to all that 12 South and the Vanderbilt area have to offer. I stayed here on a recent visit and was pleasantly surprised by how close it is to so many great restaurants and bars, as well as being super close to Vanderbilt and Belmont University. Still, it's actual location is on a pretty quiet street. From the decorations and having the check-in desk set up at the bar, it seems like it's geared toward partying, but it was still quiet during my stay. I liked that you get a chip when you check in for a free drink at the bar. I also liked the smart TVs in the rooms, so you can watch Netflix in the evening, if you are not out on the town. My only slight complaints are that the beds were a little stiff for my taste and the sliding door to the bathroom had a hard time staying shut.

The single worst Marriott property I've ever visited. I would never go back. You could not adjust the thermostat. The bed was not comfortable. The room was INCREDIBLY Loud. There were outside noises, that while understandable were way too loud. There were sounds and noises coming into the bathroom that were so loud, it seemed like they were being piped in. Do yourself a favor and find some 1 star hole and stay there. It will not be any worse than this hotel.

Such a fun property! First time staying at a MOXY and I was very pleased. The rooms were clean and decorated well. I loved the stash closet. We spent quite a bit of time in the lobby/bar area - amazing hospitality and service! Would 100% stay here again!!

A neighborhood gem. Close to everything (coffee shops, restaurants, airport). Also, very quiet hotel. Staff is amazing. Rooms are well appointed. Lobby is very cool. Easy indoor parking garage to your room in minutes. Rooms are very comfortable Love moxy hotels.

I traveled to Nashville for a work trip and stayed at the Moxy for a few nights. I was in room 525, which had (2) queen size beds and was fairly large. The room was comfortable and located within walking distance to a lot of nearby restaurants. There was parking onsite for about $30 a day. It's about a 15 minute uber or drive to downtown. Was able to hear our neighbors and people in the corridor. Staff was helpful and nice. Not a huge fan of the barn door on the bathroom, but not a deal breaker. I did really like the wall hooks, which came in handy during my stay. I would recommend this hotel for a trip to Nashville if your looking for a quieter location away from Broadway and the high traffic tourist hot spots.

Way bigger rooms than the NYC Moxie we had stayed in, so we were ready for small. This was great. Plenty of common areas too. We loved the live music on Fri and Sat nights. The games, pool, darts, jenga, etc were fun. The provided coffee for breakfast was just black, but other fancy coffees for sale. No free breakfast but they had fabulous breakfast places within an easy stroll (Biscuit Love, pancake pantry and Ruby's). Walking distance to vandy. We walked several times, especially to the game so we didn't have to worry about parking. Parking at Moxy was $30 a night, very easy in and out. We will stay here again!

We stayed here because it was near Belmont University. The rooms had no closet, just pegs on the wall to hang your clothes. It was just fine. There was a communal hall closet stocked with extra towels, toiletries, etc... if you needed anything. Bathroom was clean and plenty large, but the door was a sliding barn-style door and if anyone used the restroom during the night, the door would wake up the entire room. (It also didn't give much privacy noise-wise. The view was nice, the lobby was cool (lots of games and a pool table), plus we each got a free drink from the bar during our stay. The fitness room was adequate. Our only complaint would be the very hard mattresses, which made our backs hurt. Within a 20 minute walk of Vanderbilt. Some good shops and restaurants close by.
