Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Downtown

The rooms are clean and rhe bed is comfortable. Plus the living room area is relaxing and the overall stay was awesome. Thank you Drury Nashville!!!

We booked a stay at this hotel several months in advance of our arrival. We have stayed here before and although it is nothing special, the hotel is "nice enough" and within walking distance of Nissan Stadium. We arrived at the hotel at 5:30 PM with a check-in time scheduled at 4PM. Upon arrival, the front desk staff informed us that our room was not ready and they did not know when it would be. We had a concert we were attending at the stadium and were looking forward to taking our bags to the room and relaxing for an hour before heading over to the concert. In exchange for our inconvenience, the front desk staff told us they would "comp our parking". I wasn't happy, but things happen. I then asked if I could have a key to move about the hotel since you have to have one to enter the hotel from the parking garage and go to the lounge for the included dinner and drinks. We were refused a key since we hadn't checked in yet. If we wanted to go up to the lounge, we would have to be escorted by hotel staff and if we wanted to park, we would have to walk down several flights of stairs to get back to the front door. At this point, I was really upset and asked for the manager. The manager did agree to give us a key and a $50 credit to the room, but based on what we paid the credit only made up for the time lost in the room and nothing more. By the time all of this got figured out, it was too late to have the free dinner or drinks. I didn't even care about any of this - I just didn't want to be treated like I was the one who had created the problem. Every employee we spoke to had an attitude and treated us as if we had caused the problem and there was nothing they could do. The front desk employee could not have been more indifferent, the assistant manager who came up to help had an aggressive attitude and it was only when the actual manager arrived were we treated with any form of respect or dignity - albeit not very much. When we finally did get checked in, the beds were "just okay" and the rooms were very average. There are a lot of other lodging options in Nashville that are much better options and I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

This is the best stay in Downtown Nashville. It has everything you need for business or pleasure, and the location is perfect. The employees are the best hotel staff I've ever come across, and I travel a lot.

My sister and I visited Nashville, TN in July 2025 for the Coldplay concert at Nissan Stadium. Before any vacation, I scour TripAdvisor for hours finding the perfect hotel and this hotel’s TripAdvisor reviews were perfect! It was the main reason why we chose to stay here and we experienced firsthand why they have such good TripAdvisor reviews! This was our first ever brother and sister vacation and we had an awesome time together. The price of the room rate per night was a little higher than normal because of the concert, but the reviews were excellent and it was in the heart of downtown Nashville so the price was worth it! It was about a 5 minute walk to the pedestrian bridge and about a 15 minute walk from Nissan Stadium. It was also within walking distance of everything we wanted to do and see in downtown Nashville, so the parking rate at $42 a night was worth it. We had no issues during our stay! Since we stayed here for the Coldplay concert, it was fun to interact with fellow fans in the hotel lobby and breakfast area. The room we enjoyed on the 16th floor was very clean and the hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful. I have to give a special shout-out to Raya at the front desk who was awesome! She was extremely kind and helpful when we arrived and checked in. My sister and I also enjoyed the rooftop pool in the late evening. There were plenty of food options for the continental breakfast including: oatmeal, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, a special bacon cheddar egg scramble on Tuesdays/Thursdays, waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. Their coffee was delicious too. We really appreciated the safety feature of requiring hotel keys to enter the interior lobby doors, parking garage and any level above the 8th floor. The 8th floor is where all the hotel amenities are, including the breakfast area, rooftop pool and gym. All of the rooms are above the 8th floor so you can only access the rooms if you tap your hotel room key in the elevator. That made us feel safe! Thanks for all that you do. When we come to Nashville again in the future, we will stay here again!
