Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium

Great place. Shuttle was convenient

My husband and I travel a lot, this is among the most disappointing stays that we've ever had. Since returning I've read some pretty bad reviews of this place, most of them center around customer service and cleanliness. We had no issue with the front desk, check in was quick and easy. And our room was pretty clean, updated. A little sparse maybe, not homey at all, but clean. The free breakfast exceeded expectations. My issue is the fact that we had no window. There was only like a 9 x 15 window that was up too high to see out of (see pics). We were in Nashville for a concert, it was really hot and it rained on and off the whole time we were there, so we weren't planning to do much other than the concert. We did go to Broadway for a couple hours one night, but other than that, we were in the room. This wasn't a good room for that. We had booked our stay long ago, when we first bought the concert tickets. I'm sure there are better rooms here, and I'm not sure why we were the guests that were relegated to the 'dungeon', as I was calling it. It felt like we were staying in an oversized closet. We work hard and have precious little time off, and this was not how I wanted to spend this time. I think if you're going to give someone a room with no window, you call it an obstructed view, and you charge less for it. Also the shower never had hot water, it was lukewarm at best. Parking was also an issue. For these reasons I do not recommend this hotel.

The location is very convenient for walking to Nissan Stadium. The continental breakfast is decent. If you get the room that is off of the pool (I believe it's room 213), your key only works from 10AM to 10PM - if you leave earlier or return later and want to get into your room, you can't without management letting you in. This room has access to the pool level, but your key won't let you get to your room because of the pool access - very aggravating to not be able to get in your room. We went during the AC/DC concert and once the concert was postponed, we needed the room for an additional night. At the check in desk, we were told we could get the room an additional night but the price had quadrupuled from what we originally paid - the front desk said the owner called as soon as they heard the concert was postponed and raised the price - I feel that was extrememly dishonest and unfair but given that we were over 7 hours from home, we didn't have much choice. Bottom line - book at a better hotel and Uber in for events, as I would not recommend this place.

The only window in the room overlooked the swimming pool and didn’t get a lot of natural light. Sockets didn’t work with travel adaptor at bedside, reception sent maintenance who supplied an extension cable to use. The floor in the room was dirty and if I walked barefoot my feet were filthy, I had to wear shoes to walk about in the room. One of the main reasons for booking this hotel was the shuttle bus that took you to downtown Nashville as my friends husband is registered disabled. The shuttle bus was out of service and had been for several weeks, so we had to either walk across the footbridge, a 15 to 20 minute walk, or use an Uber. There was a lot of construction work going on opposite the hotel, but this couldn’t be heard inside the hotel.

Disgusting- cockroaches, noisy and rude, uncooperative and unwelcoming hosts. And wayyyyy overpriced. Trust me and get an air BnB. I called to tell them wed be late and they didnt care or listen. Wouldn't organize late checkout. Very apathetic and uncaring
