Hyatt House Nashville/Vanderbilt

Easy to check in. Clean lobby and room. We needed accommodation due to the beds only having down pillows and duvet cover. So we called down and within minutes someone was there to perform the full swap. I tried to assist but she just waved me aside. I would have only slowed her down for sure. LOL

Great staff, shuttle to downtown Nashville Lounge had good food,entertainment and friendly guests to chat with.

The Hotel was beautiful and clean as expected but the customer service was TERRIBLE. First, I had booked online and had my confirmation paperwork but somehow she couldn't find my reservation? People were checking in coming and going. There were rooms available but she kept going in the back?????? After about an hour or over, she decided to just find us 2 more rooms which she could have done at the first instead of making our group wait over an hour. Then, when I gave her the tax exemption form, she looked like a deer in headlights and told me I would have to give it to someone when I checked out. The next morning, I gave the form to the girl, and same thing, a deer in headlights. She then told me I couldn't use it. I ask to speak to the manager and she left and stayed in the back about 15 minutes and finally came out and said I could use it, in which I knew I could. I book hotels for my office all the time, so I know how it works. Please inform your staff to treat your customers better and to get more knowledge regarding tax exemption transactions. Such a pleasant place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and easily accessible. Breakfast was far past expectations.
