Residence Inn Nashville Downtown/Convention Center

I have to give a very mixed review. I'm pretty loyal to Marriott and am usually very happy with Residence Inns. This seemed to be a very busy time (we stayed 5 nights in late July) and some of our disappointments may have been related to that. But when you have to pay more during a high season, it would be nice to get the same quality as low season. CONS Breakfast--long lines every morning, running out of both food and plates, silverware, etc. Quality not up to usual Residence Inn standards. Housekeeping--never did get housekeeping in 5 days. Didn't need it the first couple days and then didn't get it after that. We finally just requested a towel refresh which happened fairly quickly. Beds--our bed was fairly soft and worn (indented)--woke up with a backache every day. Gym--very full about half the mornings we visited. No yoga mats. No towels at least one day. Not enough free weight options or area for the demand. Pool--The pool was great the first couple days we were there. We enjoyed soaking and swimming after a hot day. It's a beautiful area. However, it was closed and drained the last few days of our stay without explanation so that was disappointing. PROS Beautiful hotel common areas. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent location for walking. Great restaurant options very close by.

Gorgeous, modern hotel in the perfect location in the heart of downtown Nashville! We were impressed by the free valet right when we arrived. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were huge and so clean, they even have an awesome rooftop bar. The pool and aqua bar were fantastic, resort style! We had a great time staying here with our family and it made for the perfect vacation in Nashville!

Had a great stay. Clean rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. We were there for a work event. Robin and Kevon at the front were amazing!

Slow check in. Rude front desk staff. Broken down pool. Rooms not getting cleaned. Over crowded breakfast with picked over items.

Amazing check in experience Abdi was welcoming and courteous. The check in was smooth and hustle free. The rooms were also quite nice and beds are comfortable.

Sami in the bar area was great, but don’t forget your drivers license, even if you’re 60! Good breakfast, but could use a few more gluten-free options. I was amazed by the size of our room, it was awesome and I loved how much space there was for clothes and toiletries!!
