Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Airport

The new airport interstate construction has blocked the entrance to this Hampton Inn. To get to them, you must enter the Raceway Gas parking lot and use a connecting side road. Bad idea! This Hampton Inn has no room safe or microwave in the room. The carpets were 3 patterns pieced together. The breakfast was good. But overall, not a great experience.

The room was barely clean. There was a spider in the tub. There was no closet or clothes hooks. Staff including van driver spoke little or no English. Someone decided to vacuum the hallways outside our room at 7:30 AM. We have stayed in many Hampton Inns over many years and this was the worst.

Pros: Proximity to BNA, quiet rooms. Cons: Area surrounding hotel not the greatest, free breakfast offerings were lackluster, slow elevators. Airport hotels can be outstanding, or they can be questionable. This one falls in between the two extremes but I didn't have any major issues, so it warrants five stars in my book. I put a high value on effortless hotel stays. The elevators were slow but my seventh floor room was clean and quiet, though a chair for sitting and watching TV would have been nice. It was a pleasant place to spend time for the two nights my group was using the conference room downstairs, as well as two extra nights I added to my trip to see some Nashville sites. The hotel is directly across the highway from the airport- a huge plus, especially if one isn't renting a car. Unfortunately the neighborhood isn't the greatest- throughout the day, the lobby seemed to be a gathering place and pass-through for the area's weirdos and aloof characters (of which some may have been housed at the hotel). However, they were never a problem aside from creating a strange vibe at times. On the plus side, grocery stores and restaurants were only a short drive down the road. The free breakfast just... was. There were waffle irons but the hot food offerings were lackluster. Here, you definitely got what you paid for. While there is nothing exceptional about this property, there is nothing wrong with it either, so I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The room was clean, bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. You can take a quick Uber ride to Broadway. Perfect location for getting to the airport in the early mornings, located next to a gas station if you need to fill up the rental car.

Very spacious suite, very quiet and wonderful staff

Eveything was great. Room was spacious and clean. The shuttle service was excellent. Adam, at the front desk, went above and beyond. He picked us up at the airport in the shuttle and then jump started are vehicle once we returned to the hotel from our vacation to find out that our car battery died. To have employees that care that much to help their patrons should say it all.
