Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Downtown

I recently stayed there (July 2025). I was one of the first guests to stay in this hotel in 2007-2008. They have not put a dime in it since. While four hotels have been built within the block. The furniture in the lobby was worn and torn like a college frat house. Awful! I stayed in Room 624, the bathtub wall had a large cut in it, which looked like they attempted to patch. Really! The trash can at the Valet Booth was over flowing. After Breakfast there was trash on the floor for hours. Doesn't any Managers or Staff walk around to visibly check common areas to see if they are at the high standards they should be. Yes, you can pick up papers and pull trash. Team Work! Doesn't anyone care anymore!

Room was clean, very spacious, and the A/C was freezing! lol Great location just a couple blocks away from the Boardwalk which was nice to help reduce the live music levels. Only complaint is some of the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeing off near the toilet which is an unpleasant view when going to the bathroom.

1-Star Review Hilton Downtown Nashville & ******* – Beware Terrible experience. We booked Hilton Downtown Nashville through *******. The next day, we tried to book a second night using the ******* app—thinking we were booking the same hotel. Turns out, it was Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Downtown Nashville—a separate property with almost the exact same name. Same branding, same area—very confusing. We’re on a motorcycle trip and didn’t want to pack everything and move for just one night. We called ******* FOUR times and also spoke with Hilton. No one would help. No refund. No credit. Nothing. We lost almost $300 for a night we never used. Expedia’s app caused the issue. Hilton and ******* both refused to do the right thing. As someone who spends $40K–$50K a year on travel, I expected better. We’ll be telling everyone we can: ❌ Don’t trust Expedia’s app—it’s misleading. ❌ Avoid Hilton if you value customer service. We have proof. This was not our error—it was their system failure, and we paid the price. AVOID Hilton and *******

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service I received from Owen at the hotel valet. Despite it being a hectic and busy morning, Owen went above and beyond to help me out. He was incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with a calm and friendly attitude. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure guests were taken care of. It’s rare to see someone stay so composed under pressure, and it made a big difference in my experience. Owen is a true asset to the team—thank you!

This hotel over performs because of the staff. Everyone was nice and helpful with the few issues we had. It could use new mattresses and a little tlc but that is every hotel I go in. thanks for a great stay! Hotel is just few blocks from Broadway and Ascend Amphitheater.

We are diamond members and stay in the area quite a bit with Hilton. We got this location on the last visit because the other locations were full. It is a nice walking distance to Broadway but the hotel itself is not up to par. We were on second floor right over the front entrance. We heard every conversation and horn honk that was made. There is also heavy construction going on within 50 feet of the hotel and they crank up early and go all day. The valet is 50+ per night and seems to be understaffed. Took a long time to retrieve and drop off our car each time. One time they even brought us the wrong car. The breakfast doesn’t have very friendly people running it. They ran out of milk at 8am. how can you not know you have no milk before you open your breakfast bar? Rooms are in need of some sprucing up. We won’t stay again - unless there is no other option
