The Inn at Opryland, A Gaylord Hotel

Close to Downtown Nashville yet out of the noise and congestion. The Inn at Opryland is well placed to access anything you could want in the Nashville area particularly the a grand Ol Opry. The on site restaurant was fantastic and plenty of other choices right across the street if it doesn’t take your fancy. We were comfortable and had a great stay.

Great hotel, would stay again. Only downfall was people being loud coming in around 2am.

The room was what you would expect but most people go here for the hotel itself so make sure to leave time to explore the hotel. The indoor gardens are beautiful and were not crowded at all. Be aware though, that eating at the hotel was quite expensive.

Stayed here for three days as part of a tour. It's a nice enough place, but it's about 40 minutes out of Nashville Central. It's close to the Grand Ole Opry if you're seeing a show. Rooms are okay, bathroom is a bit small, but manageable. Would I stay here again, probably not, but it's a personal choice.

This hotel is definitely not one that Marriott built. They have made it look like a Marriott hotel with some paint but the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. The staff was very nice and our stay was comfortable. We were surprised at the lack of guests on a weekend but it was August in Tennessee. The only real problem was the restaurant within the building. It is high priced, the staff is mediocre, and the food was not good. It definitely gives Marriott a bit of a black eye even if they don’t own the restaurant. The location is nice if you don’t want to stay in the city. The Opry Mills Mall is right around the corner and has great shopping, restaurants, a movie theatre, and the Grand Old Opry is right there too.

Wonderful front desk staff. Great beds, but horrible pillows Clean and updated rooms. Shower amenities to include shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Horrible light pollution into room from city lights due to incorrect size of curtains that do not cover room. Horrible noise pollution into room from city streets and from next door neighbors due to bad insulation, but ear plugs helped.

This was the most disappointing stay I have ever had with Marriott. To advertise this hotel as a Gaylord hotel would be consider fraud and extremely misleading to a customer. I have stayed at the Gaylord in Washington DC and Nashville, this hotel or should I say motel is not even close to a Gaylord standard or even the Marriott standard of hotels. The bathroom is smaller than a half bathroom. Our room is outside on the third floor, never have I stayed at a Marriott with outside rooms. When the air condition turns on it sounds as if it is moving the entire room. Wanted a drink in my room and the only cups were paper, not even a bottle of water in the room. Every Marriott hotel I stayed at had bottled water and real glasses. To be considered a Gaylord hotel and not provide these basic items, really!!!! When asked about checking out early to go to another property the manager, who is also working the front desk, told us we would be charged a full nights stay to check out early. I booked two rooms for our Easter break. Oh we can go to the real Gaylord across the street but the shuttle stops at 8pm Will never come here again and will never book a Gaylord hotel unless it is the actual Gaylord. Marriott please do better, and advertise your hotels appropriately.

We had the best vacation with my family. There was so much to do and see. The stay knows so much about the area and the culture, they even shared a few tips with us. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were the best I have ever slept on. I can not wait to come back to stay at this hotel again. There is so much to do and see in Nashville so be sure to make a list of things you want to do or you may run out of time.

I stay at this hotel quite often for buisness & leisure. They always take good care of my family & I. They have just renovated the rooms and they look great. It is located in an area that is not in the hustle & bustle of downtown Nashville which I appreciate. However it’s close enough that you can be on Broadway within about 12 min. I love this place.
