Beautiful house, you have a comfortable warm feeling immediately. We were greeted by the owner Mike and Dusty the golden retriever. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. To support their community, vouchers are given for local restaurants for breakfast, the two restaurants we went to were great. We parked our car on the property and it was easy to Uber around Nashville. We will definitely return

Great 12th South location. Everywhere you need to go around 12th South is easy short stroll from the inn. Besides the obvious beauty of the inn, it is comfortable and like home. The kitchen is well stocked, and there's a dishwasher, so just put your glasses & dishes in there when you're done with them. The shower water pressure is amazing - for a 1920 house! Because the house has commercial grade water pump! Michael made sure to greet me and showed me everything when I arrived, even though it was later in the evening. Communication from the time you book to the time to leave is excellent. I would say it is THE BEST I've ever come across. It comes from true personal touch, and care the guests & the community. Just the right amount of info, and just the info you generally need. I had the 1st room on the 2nd floor. The window opens to a tree full of little pink flowers. So beautiful. And one morning I saw a rabbit running around in the backyard next door. Peaceful place to stay. But just a short walk to everything on the main drag of 12th South.

Southern hospitality was offered to us as soon as we stepped through the door upon check in. The house is lovely and well appointed and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The front porch and the back patio are very inviting for a relaxing drink after a full day in the city. The city is a quick Uber drive to town, so no hassle with parking a car. The house is located in a quiet residential area, but is within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

A lovely home with all the space a family would need to spend a week together. Three levels of immaculately clean, well decorated, and inviting rooms. A lower level “lounge” style space with open concept sleeping and entertaining space. A finished common area in the back for a fire under the stars when the weather is nice or a roof covered patio with fireplace and lots of seating. A short Uber into the city. Stay local and it’s an easy walk to high end shopping, dining, and spa experiences (try Form Wellness), Farmers market in Seiver’s park on Tuesdays. This is a feel good investment in your family’s experience through direct support of local non-profits helping women (Thistle Farms). Your family will feel the love in this space, and love heals everybody.

Unbelievably fabulous!! Ashley and Michael are perfect hosts and I can't say enough about Desti. The neighborhood is idyllic and friendly. So much within walking distance. Great restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again my next trip to Nashville.

A beautiful home in an excellent location. This is the second time we have stayed and again it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very accomodating and contacted us several times to enquire if we needed anything. If you are travelling to Nashville do your self a favour and stay at Caroline House Nashville Historic Inn.

The Caroline House is a gem and it was absolutely perfect for our visit. Michael was the best host from before arrival until our departure. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and a wealth of information about Nashville. He was always available for any questions. Our room was very comfortable and lacked nothing. The house is in a beautiful historic neighborhood within walking distance to shops and restaurants on 12th street. The breakfasts were from very good restaurants and offered a varied selection of delicious treats. Don’t miss the donuts! Downtown Nashville is a short Lyft/Uber away. And Desti is the sweetest pup ever. She gives the best hugs. We looked forward to her greetings and were sad to say goodbye to her. If you want to be pampered this is the place to stay.

This is a great place to stay if you want to get away from Broadway. Its an easily walkable neighborhood and the hosts were fantastic! Their "sleep like a rockstar" promise was accurate, very comfortable bed and sheets! Cozy little alternative to a hotel. Breakfast options were amazing!
